Abstract:
The present invention concerns an adsorbent comprising at least one zeolite selected from a zeolite of the 12 MR, 10 MR and 8 MR type and at least one binder comprising a clay with a Si/Al weight ratio of more than 2. It also concerns its preparation process and its use in a process for purifying a hydrocarbon feed comprising unsaturated molecules and at least one impurity comprising at least one heteroatom of the O, S or N type.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for the liquid-phase separation of glucose from a mixture of C5 and C6 sugars comprising at least xylose and glucose, by adsorption of glucose on a zeolitic adsorbent based on FAU-type zeolite crystals having an Si/Al atomic ratio strictly greater than 1.5 comprising barium, wherein: said mixture is brought into contact with said adsorbent, by liquid chromatography, to obtain a xylose-enriched liquid phase and a glucose-enriched adsorbed phase; on the one hand, said xylose-enriched liquid phase is recovered and said phase adsorbed on said adsorbent is desorbed by means of a desorption solvent in order to recover the glucose on the other hand.

Abstract:
This invention pertains to a method for purifying an olefinic feedstock that comprises olefins with 4 carbon atoms and impurities including isobutanal, ethanol, and acetone, where said method comprises a pretreatment that comprises a step for eliminating acetone and optionally a step for eliminating the water that is present in said olefinic feedstock, and a step for simultaneously eliminating isobutanal and ethanol by running the feedstock obtained from the pretreatment over at least one fixed bed having at least one adsorbent that comprises at least one porous refractory oxide-based material, optionally impregnated with one or more alkaline or alkaline-earth cations; where said step for simultaneously eliminating isobutanal and ethanol operates at a temperature of between 0 and 200° C., at a pressure of 0.1 to 10 MPa, and with an hourly volumetric flow rate (VVH) of the feedstock on the fixed bed of between 0.1 and 10 h−1.
