Abstract: This invention has as its object a process for selective hydrogenation of an unsaturated olefinic feedstock that comprises 3 or 4 carbon atoms, using at least two switchable fixed-bed reactors, each containing at least one catalytic bed and in which said feedstock successively passes through all of the reactors, and in which, each time that one of the reactors is deactivated, the point of introduction of the feedstock is moved downstream.
