Abstract:
The gaseous effluent is contacted with an aqueous solution comprising at least one amine and at least one amine degradation inhibiting compound. A stainless steel withstanding corrosion upon contact with the amine degradation inhibiting compound is first selected. Equipments whose surfaces in contact with the aqueous solution are made from this stainless steel are used.
Abstract:
The reactor 1 that allows continuous regeneration of catalyst consists of a chamber 2 that comprises an oxychlorination zone superposed on a calcination zone equipped with a pipe for introducing calcination gas and a pipe for injecting oxychlorination gas 73. A mixing box is arranged between the oxychlorination zone and the calcination zone, at least one space 85 for catalyst grains to pass being made between the box and the chamber 2, with the mixing box comprising an inner space 80 surrounded by a gas-tight side wall 84, a gas-permeable bottom 83, and a roof 81 that covers the inner space 80. The pipe 73 for introducing oxychlorination gas empties into the inner space 80. The mixing box comprises means 82 for evacuating gas, whereby these means are arranged between said vertical wall 84 and the roof 81.
Abstract:
The present invention concerns a moving bed catalyst regenerator (1) comprising a vessel (2) extending in a vertical direction, said vessel being divided into at least two regeneration zones extending along the vertical height of said vessel, in which particles of catalyst move under gravity, in which each regeneration zone comprises, in succession and in the order in which the catalysts move: a) a combustion section (CO); b) an oxychlorination section (O) disposed below the combustion section and comprising means for bringing catalyst from the combustion section (CO) to the oxychlorination section (O); c) a calcining section (CA) disposed below the oxychlorination section; characterized in that the regeneration zones are separated from each other by a separation means which is impermeable to catalysts and to gases in a manner such that the catalysts of each of the zones are capable of being regenerated under different operating conditions.
Abstract:
The present invention concerns a moving bed catalyst regenerator (1) comprising a vessel (2) extending in a vertical direction, said vessel being divided into at least two regeneration zones extending along the vertical height of said vessel, in which particles of catalyst move under gravity, the regenerator being configured such that each regeneration zone is capable of separately regenerating a different composition of catalyst and in which each regeneration zone comprises, in succession and in the order in which the catalysts move: a) a combustion section (CO); b) an oxychlorination section (O) disposed below the combustion section and comprising means for bringing catalyst from the combustion section (CO) to the oxychlorination section (O); c) a calcining section (CA) disposed below the oxychlorination section.
Abstract:
The present invention describes a type of radial bed reactor which can allow a small quantity of catalyst to be used. Application to a regenerative reforming process reactor.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for catalytic reforming of a naphtha hydrocarbon feedstock using a number of reaction zones in series, wherein the reaction zones contain a reforming catalyst bed. The process comprises comprising the following stages: sending hydrocarbon feedstock that is heated with hydrogen through the reaction zones to convert paraffinic and naphthenic compounds into aromatic compounds, with the effluent that is produced by each reaction zone, except for the last reaction zone, being heated before its introduction into the following reaction zone; drawing off a reformate from the last reaction zone.
