Abstract: A clamping and positioning device includes a base, a rotary member, a moving assembly and an elastic member. The rotary member is rotatably disposed on the base and includes a stopping surface facing the base. The moving assembly includes a moving member movably disposed on the base to have a first and a second position. When being at the first position, the moving member is pressed against the rotary member to allow the stopping surface to apply a normal force to the base; when being at the second position, a gap is formed between the moving member and the rotary member so the normal force applied by the stopping surface of the rotary member is released from the base. The elastic member has two ends connected to the base and the moving member, respectively. The elastic member normally causes the moving member to be at the first position.

Abstract: A twin rotation driving apparatus is provided, including a base body, an axle unit pivotally connected to the base body for carrying a workpiece, a first driving unit disposed on the base body and having a first gear set connected to the axle unit and a first motor coaxially connected to the first gear set, and a second driving unit disposed on the base body and having a second gear set connected to the axle unit and a second motor coaxially connected to the second gear set. The twin rotation driving apparatus includes two motors and two gear sets. Therefore, smaller motors can be included in the twin rotation driving apparatus, and the twin rotation driving apparatus is compact and can still generate great enough torques.

Abstract: The disclosure is related to a clamp-type measuring device includes a clamp and an interval measuring module. The clamp includes a guiding rail and two holding arm. Each of holding arms includes a guide part, a connecting part, and a clamping part. The guide part is movably furnished on the guiding rail. Both ends of the connecting part are respectively connected to the guide part and the clamping part. The interval measuring module includes a first measuring element and a second measuring element. The first measuring element and the second measuring element are furnished on the two connecting parts respectively. The first measuring element and the second measuring element are slidable through the two guide parts respectively in order to measure an interval between the two clamping parts. In addition, the disclosure is also related to a measuring method of the clamp-type measuring device.

Abstract: The disclosure is a thermal stability control system and a control method thereof for a machine tool. The control system mainly consists of a machine cooling sub-system composed of a pump, at least a cooling loop and a tank for storing cooling fluid, a cooling fluid cooling and heating sub-system, a heater and a micro controller. The cooling fluid cooling and heating sub-system further consists of a condenser, an evaporator, a directional valve, an expansion valve and a compressor. The micro controller dominates corresponding operation combinations of turning on/off the heater, enabling/disenabling the cooling fluid cooling and heating sub-system as a heat pump or a cooler by activating/releasing the directional vale, and adjusting upward/downward the driving frequency of an inverter duty motor to drive the pump to change the flow rate of cooling fluid through the cooling loop according the real time load of the machine tool.
