    Abstract: Various embodiments herein are directed to determining phase tracking reference signal (PT-RS) patterns, including systems operating above a carrier frequency of 52.6 GHz and an apparatus comprising: memory to store phase tracking reference signal (PT-RS) information for initial transmission and retransmission of a transport block (TB) within a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH); and processing circuitry, coupled with the memory, to: retrieve the PT-RS information from the memory; and encode a PUSCH containing the TB for initial transmission or retransmission based on the PT-RS information.

    Abstract: A computer-readable storage medium stores instructions to configure a UE for operation in a 5G NR and beyond wireless network and to cause the UE to perform operations. The operations include encoding a data bitstream to generate a plurality of code blocks. Code block interleaving of a subset of code blocks of the plurality of code blocks is performed to generate an interleaved bitstream. The interleaved bitstream is modulated using a discrete Fourier transform-spread-orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (DFT-s-OFDM) to generate multiple sets of time-domain samples. The operations further include causing transmission of the multiple sets of time-domain samples.

    Abstract: Described is an apparatus of an Evolved Node-B (eNB) operable to communicate with a User Equipment (UE) on a wireless network. The apparatus may comprise a first circuitry, a second circuitry, a third circuitry, and a fourth circuitry. The first circuitry may be operable to identify a data block having a number N1 of bits. The second circuitry may be operable to determine a number N2 of filler bits based on a set of one or more parameters and the N1 of bits of the data block. The third circuitry may be operable to pad the data block with the N2 filler bits to form a padded data block having a number N3 of bits.     Abstract: Network devices and systems in 5G advance long term evolution (LTE) and new radio (NR) infrastructures utilize beam management operations to ensure communications for channel state information (CSI) reporting by a user equipment (UE). CSI report configuration reporting settings are processed based on a codebook subset restriction to indicate pre-coding matrix indicators (PMIs) that are restricted and non-restricted for PMI reporting associated with a rank indicator (RI). Based on the codebook subset restriction, an advanced CSI codebook or a new radio (NR) codebook is generated to be transmitted on non-restricted beams of the codebook subset restriction.

    Abstract: Provided herein is design of early data transmission in wireless communication system. An apparatus for a user equipment (UE) includes a processor configured to: encode a physical random access channel (PRACH) sequence from a plurality of PRACH sequence for transmission via a PRACH to perform a random access procedure, wherein indication of support of early data transmission (EDT) that is transmitted during the random access procedure is based on at least one of the plurality of PRACH sequences, higher layer signaling, PRACH resources, PRACH formats, and a payload from the UE; and send the PRACH sequence to a radio frequency (RF) interface; and the RF interface to receive the PRACH sequence from the processor. Design of random access response (RAR) is also disclosed herein.
