Among the methods is a method that may include any of determining first and second reference signals sets (RS sets) associated with first and second sets of beams; receiving information for first and second beam failure recovery (BFR) sets corresponding to the first and second RS sets, wherein the information indicates an RS set associated with candidate beams (CB-RS set) and an uplink resource set for each of the first and second BFR sets; determining beam failures based on the first and second RS sets; selecting the CB-RS set and UL resource set from the first or second BFR set; determining an RS of the selected CB-RS set; and transmitting information indicating the beam failures using uplink resources of the selected uplink resource set.

Further, the WTRU may use each panel independently to communicate with multiple transmission and receive points simultaneously. The WTRU may accomplish this using transmission control indicators, reference signals, monitoring techniques suitable for multiple transmission and reception point communication.

摘要: Method, apparatus, and systems for flexible aperiodic reference signal (RS) transmissions are provided. For example, a method implemented in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) for wireless communications comprises receiving configuration information of one or more sounding reference signal (SRS) resource sets, each SRS resource set of the one or more SRS resource sets is associated with a slot offset and a set of slot offset deltas; receiving downlink control information (DCI) indicating an SRS request, the SRS request indicates an SRS resource set of the one or more SRS resource sets; determining an SRS configuration from a set of SRS configurations for SRS transmissions; determining a slot for transmitting an SRS based on the determined SRS configuration; and transmitting, in the determined slot, the SRS using resources of the indicated SRS resource set.

摘要: Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface devices, RIS, may be used to improve receipt of radio signals received by wireless transmit-receive units, WTRUs, in a given area. In such area, WTRUs may receive radio signals directly from the transmitter, and indirectly, via reflection of the radio signals from the transmitter by the RIS device. A RIS may consist of programmable sub-wavelength sized unit cells placed in close proximity. Each unit cell behaves like a scatterer. Embodiments of a new RIS structure are described here, being based on a nearly passive reflecting platform. In a Nearly-Passive RIS structure according to embodiments, NP-RIS, each unit cell is programmed to have a constant invariable phase-shift. Embodiments of a unit cell selection method are described, to control the reflected wave by selecting a subset of unit cells whose reflection could assist coherent alignment of the reflected wave with the main direct signal at the WTRU.

摘要: The disclosed method and an apparatus are directed to determine an uplink transmission power in in New Radio (NR) systems by a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) for transmitting at least one physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), using multiple beams toward multiple Tx/Rx points (TRPs). The method includes determining common parameters like a target receive power, a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) specific offset, and a transmit power control (TPC) command parameters common to the multiple beams. The method also includes determining beam-specific parameters like path loss for each beam, a configurable fractional power compensation factor for each beam, and a configurable maximum transmit power level of the each beam, wherein the fractional power compensation factor and the configurable maximum transmit power level for the each beam are determined dynamically or semi-statically based on at least deployment, WTRU mobility, or interference level. The method further includes transmitting at least one codeword to at least one receiving station using at least one of the multiple beams, which having a transmit power calculated based on the common parameters and the beam-specific parameters.

摘要: Methods and systems for sending and receiving an enhanced downlink control channel are disclosed. The method may include receiving control channel information via an enhanced control channel. The method may also include using the control channel information to receive a shared channel. The method may include detecting the presence of the enhanced control channel in a given subframe. The enhanced control channel may be transmitted over multiple antenna ports. For example, code divisional multiplexing and de-multiplexing and the use of common and UE-specific reference signals may be utilized. New control channel elements may be defined, and enhanced control channel state information (CSI) feedback may be utilized. The presence or absence of legacy control channels may affect the demodulation and or decoding methods. The method may be implemented at a WTRU.

A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive first uplink (UL)-downlink (DL) configuration information indicating a first UL-DL configuration, and may receive second UL-DL configuration information indicating a second UL-DL configuration. The WTRU may receive a physical downlink shared control channel (PDSCH) transmission in a DL direction of one or more first symbols in a first subframe. The DL direction of the one or more first symbols may be based on the first UL-DL configuration and the second UL-DL configuration. The WTRU may transmit first acknowledgement (ACK)/negative ACK (NACK) information in a UL direction of one or more second symbols in the first subframe. The first ACK/NACK information may be based on the PDSCH transmission. The UL direction of the one or more second symbols may be based on the first UL-DL configuration and the second UL-DL configuration.

摘要: Methods, systems and apparatus are provided for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processes. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive, in a first subframe, downlink control information (DCI) including a grant for a physical downlink shared control channel (PDSCH) and an indication of physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources. Further, the WTRU may receive, in the first subframe, data on the PDSCH based on the grant. Also, the WTRU may generate first acknowledgement (ACK)/negative ACK (NACK) information based on the data received on the PDSCH. Accordingly, the WTRU may transmit, in the first subframe, the first ACK/NACK information in a PUCCH transmission. In an example, the first ACK/NACK information may be transmitted in a time slot in the first subframe different from a time slot in the first subframe in which the DCI is received. Also, transmitting the PUCCH transmission may have a duration of one or two symbols.
