Abstract:
A computer-implemented method and a server for device positioning. The computer-implemented method includes receiving a control message from a positioning server. The control message indicates a set of channels associated with an area and time periods for monitoring the set of channels. At least one measurement of a signal from at least one of a reference device for the area and a target device is obtained, according to the control message, with the reference device being located at a predefined position with respect to the area. The at least one measurement is reported to the positioning server for determining a position of the target device with respect to the area.
Abstract:
A method for signal modulation includes determining at least one guard band between at least two continuous available sub-bands among multiple available sub-bands that can be used by a communication entity and are discrete; and using the at least one guard band in signal modulation for the communication entity.

Abstract:
A computer-implemented method uses a predictive time-sequence model to adapt hardware configurations at run-time for an application including multiple stages of execution. At each stage a system monitor is started at the launch of a first task in a first run to collect performance data. The system monitor is stopped at the completion of a last task in the first run, then a predictive optimal configuration is computed and applied to the remaining runs in the stage.

A computer-implemented method and a server for device positioning. The computer-implemented method includes sending a control message to a detector. The control message indicates a set of channels associated with an area and time periods for monitoring the set of channels. A measurement of a signal from a device for the area and a target device is received from the detector. Position of the target device with respect to the area is determined based on a measurement and a radio map. The radio map indicates signal strength corresponding to positions in the area.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide methods, computer systems and computer program products for service packages porting. In one embodiment of the present invention, a computer implemented method for a service package porting is provided. One or more processors provision a component of a first layer based on a plurality of component descriptions and build the service package on the first layer. Hence the one or more processors collect first log information that relates to build failures of the service package. According to another embodiment of the present invention, the method further comprises determine whether a build failure is related to the first layer based on the first log information and remove the component of the first layer if it is determined that the build failure is related to the first layer.

Abstract:
A method and apparatus for sharing frequencies in an orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing OFDM-based wireless communication system, wherein the OFDM-based wireless communication system comprises a base station and a mobile device that work within a radio frequency band, the method comprising: detecting an interference signal in the radio frequency band; setting by the base station, based upon the interference signal, interference indication information in a control header of a downlink frame to be sent to the mobile device, the interference indication information indicating a frequency range that is occupied by the interference signal in the radio frequency band; and sending by the base station the downlink frame to the mobile device, such that the mobile device may, based upon the interference indication information, avoid the frequency range where the interference signal is located.
