摘要： A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material having high sensitivity and high covering power, particularly suitable for use in radiography comprising on a support, a silver halide emulsion layer having silver halide grains which have a grain-size distribution curve comprising at least two peaks of which in the mode form, the highest peak mode and another peak mode adjacent thereto stand leaving a space of 0.10.mu. to 0.30.mu. therebetween. An orthochromatic dye-sensitizer increases the sensitivity.

摘要： A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprising a specific silver halide grain is disclosed. The siliver halide grain contains a localized portion containing 20 mol % or more of silver iodide and average content of silver iodide of which grain is from 0.1 to 10.0 mol %, provided that the silver halide grain is prepared by mixing an aqueous solution containing a water soluble halide compound and an aqueous solution containing a water soluble silver salt under a condition that pAg of the mixture is raised at 9.7 or more during a period after a half amount of the silver salt to be used has been added to the mixture. The photographic light-sensitive material has improved photographic characteristics and is suitable for radiographic use.

摘要： There is disclosed a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support and provided thereon, at least one silver halide light-sensitive layer spectrally sensitized by adding a spectral sensitizing dye during at least one process selected from a grain formation process, a physical reopening process and a desalting process, wherein said light-sensitive material contains at least one selected from the compounds represented by following Formula A: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aralkyl group, an alkoxy group, an aryl group, a heterocyclic group, a carbamoyl group, a thiocarbamoyl group, and a sulfamoyl group; R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 represent independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group, a cyano group, an alkylthio group, an arylthio group, an alkylsulfoxide group, an alkylsulfonyl group, and a heterocyclic group, provided that R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 may combine each other to form a benzene ring.

摘要： A light-sensitive silver halide photographic material is disclosed. The light-sensitive material comprises a support and two photographic layers each being provided on both sides, side A and side B, of the support and comprising a silver halide emulsion layer and a hydrophilic colloid layer wherein the light-sensitive material satisfies the relationship between sensitivities sA, sB and sA' thereof represented by the following expressions I and II, and an organic substance remained in the photographic layers after processing is an amount of not more than 90% by weight of the organic substance contained in the photographic layers before processing of the light-sensitive material;I: sA/sA'>4.0II: sA/sB=1.5 to 20wherein sA is sensitivity to light of the photographic layers provided on the side A of the support, when exposure is carried out only from the side A, and sB and sA' are sensitivities to light the photographic layers provided on the sides B and A of the support, respectively, when exposure is carried out only from the side B. The light-sensitive material is improved in the sensitivity, sharpness, fixing ability and dependency on developing conditions thereof.

摘要： A method for processing an exposed black and white silver halide photographic light-sensitive material includes the steps of: (1) developing the exposed light-sensitive material with a developing solution, (2) fixing the developed material with a fixing solution, (3) washing the fixed material with water which is replenished in an amount of from 0 to 3 liter/m.sup.2 of the exposed light-sensitive material, and (4) drying the washed material. The developing solution is replenished with a solid photographic composition. This solid photographic composition includes a developing agent selected from the group of a dihydroxybenzene developing agent represented by Formula I and a developing agent represented by Formula II (provided that the developing agent represented by Formula II may form a sodium salt, a potassium salt or a lithium salt). Formulae I and II are as follows: ##STR1## In the formulae, R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, and R.sub.4 each represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, a carboxyl group, a halogen atom or a sulfo group; R.sub.7 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an amino group, an alkoxyl group, a sulfo group, a carboxyl group, an amido group or a sulfonamido group; E.sup.1 represents an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom; and E.sup.2 represents an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or an NR.sub.8 group, provided that R.sup.8 represents an alkyl group or an aryl group.
