    Abstract: Systems and methods for generating certified images and incident reports are disclosed. An image capture device can be used to capture an image and integrate metadata from camera sensors as well as other ancillary device sensors into the image. The image and its metadata can then be certified upon a check that the image and its metadata are authentic and unaltered. The image and its metadata can then be included in or as a part of an incident or other report describing an incident or event such as an accident or a crime. The image and/or incident report may be maintained at a cloud-based server for viewing, authorized editing, and subsequent distribution.

    Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to apparatus and methods that collect sensed data and that may organize that data such that it can be accessed by user devices or that can be organized and analyzed according to rules, conventions, or policies. Data collected by sensors or devices may be transmitted to a computer or server that stores that data. That stored data may then be analyzed to identify trends, events, or a chain of related events. In certain instances, an analysis of sets of raw data may result in the generation of a report or may result in alerts being sent to particular user devices. These sets of collected data, generated reports, and alert information may be stored and synchronized at one or more computing devices as data sets associated with a group of user devices or with a group of sensing devices.

    Abstract: A server system receives a digital media asset captured by a media capture device along with a dataset associated with the digital media asset. The server system generates a modified digital media asset by overlaying or embedding a glyph that encodes information pointing to the network location of the information page onto the digital media asset. A requesting device scans the glyph from the modified digital media asset and decodes from the glyph the information pointing to the network location. The information includes a certification that the digital media and the dataset associated with the digital media asset are unaltered. The requesting device may transmit communications to the server system to indicate approval or disapproval of the digital media asset, or to edit the digital media asset. The server system receives the communication and may modify the information to reflect comments, approvals, disapprovals, or edits.

    Abstract: A base module may be used to receive and house one or more unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) via one or more cavities. The base module receives commands from a manager device and identifies a flight plan that allows a UAV to execute the received commands. The base module transfers the flight plan to the UAV and frees the UAV. Once the UAV returns, the base module once again receives it. The base module then receives sensor data from the UAV from one or more sensors onboard the UAV, and optionally receives additional information describing its flight and identifying success or failure of the flight plan. The base module transmits the sensor data and optionally the additional information to a storage medium locally or remotely accessible by the manager device.

    Abstract: Digital media assets depicting or otherwise representing portions of a property are captured via a media capture device, such as an unmanned vehicle, at various locations about a property. A positioning receiver tracks the location of the media capture device when each digital media asset is captured. A computing device associated with either the media capture device itself or a network-connected server automatically generates location-based categories—such as “front side” or “rear side” or “living room”—automatically based on the plurality of locations so that each location-based category is associated with multiple digital media assets and their corresponding locations.
