摘要： A method and apparatus for installing a motor vehicle door module assembly in a motor vehicle door structure, the assembly including a module plate, a bracket, and a door handle pivotally mounted on the bracket. Coacting mounting structures are provided on the module plate and on the bracket which are operative in response to linear sliding movement of the bracket relative to the module plate to mount the bracket on the module plate while permitting a limited degree of linear play. The bracket is mounted on the module plate utilizing the coacting mounting structures and the module assembly is positioned in the motor vehicle door structure whereafter the bracket and handle are adjusted relative to the module plate, utilizing the linear play, to facilitate the installation of the module assembly on the door structure. The coacting mounting structure is comprised of a plurality of tabs on the module plate and a respective plurality of keyways in the bracket. The tabs have a “T” cross-sectional configuration including a relatively narrow stem portion outstanding from the module plate and a relatively wide, horizontal bar portion on the free end of the stem portion. Each keyway includes a throat between an entry portion and a home portion and one of the keyways includes cantilevered resilient fingers terminating at the throat of the keyway, resiliently yielding in response to movement of the tab stem portion into the keyway throat, and snapping back following movement of the tab stem portion into the keyway home portion to latchingly engage the tab stem portion.

摘要： The present invention relates to a broad cancer immunoassay. Specifically, an immunoassay for peptides associated with oncogenic processes such as metastatic proteolysis is disclosed. In an illustrative embodiment, the immunoassay utilizes antibodies which bind to peptides which are generated by proteolytic processes and which contain epitopes which are masked in undegraded blood proteins such as fibrinogen. Detection of such degradation peptides in a biological sample by immunological methods allows the diagnosis of a wide variety of cancers.

摘要： A convertible chair includes a base frame, a seat connected to the base frame through first, second, and third legs, a back support connected to the seat via first and second support arms, and at least one hinge assembly interconnecting the chair components. A user can pivot the back support between an upright chair position and a lowered table position wherein an upper surface of the seat and a back side surface of the back support form an essentially planar table surface. At least one locking mechanism can be utilized to selectively lock the back support in the upright position. Additionally, the chair can be folded into an essentially flat storage position. A table leaf is also provided to fit between two adjacent convertible chairs in the table position, to produce an extended table configuration.
