A metallic bipolar plate for a fuel cell, in which a carbon coating layer containing fluorine is formed on the surface of a stainless steel base material, thus having excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance and further excellent water draining performance and heat radiating performance. In the metallic bipolar plate for a fuel cell of the present invention, the internal residual stress in the surface coating layer is significantly reduced due to the addition of fluorine, and thereby it is possible to improve the adhesive strength between the stainless steel and the surface coating layer.

The present invention provides a valve lifter, including a buffer layer, a Me diamond-like carbon layer having a thickness of 0.3˜0.6 μm, and a diamond-like carbon layer having a thickness of 1˜1.5 μm and a SP3 bonding fraction of 60˜70%, which are sequentially formed on a base body which is subjected to carbonitriding treatment. The valve lifter can exhibit superior low-friction characteristics and wear resistance.

Disclosed is a polytetrafluoroethylene coating agent having low friction and high wear resistance, obtained by dispersing nanodiamond powder in a polar organic solvent, stirring the nanodiamond dispersion solution and a silane coupling agent, and stirring the silane-treated dispersion solution and an oily polytetrafluoroethylene coating solution, in which the silane coupling agent has at least one organic functional group selected from, but not limited to, a mercapto group and an amino group, the organic functional group exhibiting high bondability to polytetrafluoroethylene. A method of preparing the polytetrafluoroethylene coating agent and a method of using the polytetrafluoroethylene coating agent are also provided.
