Abstract:
A method and a user equipment for reporting a remaining delay budget information are provided. The method includes: receiving a radio resource control configuration, wherein the radio resource control configuration indicates the user equipment to report the remaining delay budget information of a logical channel or a logical channel group through a status report message; determining whether a triggering condition is met, wherein the triggering condition is associated with a threshold of remaining delay budget; and in response to the triggering condition being met, transmitting the status report message including the remaining delay budget information, wherein the remaining delay budget information indicates at least one remaining delay budget and at least one associated buffer size.
Abstract:
A method for receiving a plurality of data packets is disclosed. The method includes: receiving MAC PDUs from a source UE of the wireless network through a relay UE, a base station and directly from the source UE, wherein the MAC PDUs are composed of RLC PDUs and RLC PDU segments; demultiplexing the MAC PDUs to retrieve the RLC PDUs and the RLC PDU segments based on a header field of each MAC PDU; reordering the RLC PDUs and the RLC PDU segments and performing a duplicate detection of the RLC PDUs and the RLC PDU segments according to TSNs, wherein each TSN is included in a header field of each RLC PDU and each RLC PDU segment; and reassembling the RLC PDUs and the RLC PDU segments into RLC SDUs using information included in the header field of each RLC PDU and each RLC PDU segment.
Abstract:
A traffic dispatch method of a first eNB comprises the following steps: generating an estimation result according to measurement reports of a plurality of user equipments (UEs), wherein parts of the measurement reports are provided by a second eNB connected to the first eNB through a backhaul connection and parts of the measurement reports are provided by parts of the UEs, wherein coverage area of the second eNB is encompassed by the first eNB; receiving a status report from the second eNB; and making a traffic split decision according to the estimation result and the status report of the second eNB to dispatch traffic to the second eNB through the backhaul connection.
Abstract:
A method for controlling device-to-device (D2D) communication includes following steps. First, radio resources for a D2D communication between a first mobile device and a second mobile device are allocated. The first mobile device is a transmitting end of the D2D communication, while the second mobile device is a receiving end of the D2D communication. A resource allocation message is transmitted through a control channel by using a D2D identification code, so that the first mobile device and the second mobile device may use the D2D identification code to search for the resource allocation message in the control channel and perform the D2D communication according to the resource allocation message. The D2D identification code is an identification code of the first mobile device or the second mobile device.
Abstract:
A user equipment and a method related to reporting management are provided. In the method, event-triggered information is received for a quality of experience (QoE) measurement configuration. A pause indication is received. To send or pause one or more QoE reports is determined based on the event-triggered information. The QoE report is associated with the QoE measurement configuration.
Abstract:
A centralized management node, a distributed node, and a method for packet delay control are provided. In the method, the centralized management node receives measurement data related to packet delay for each of a plurality of first communication channels from at least one node subsidiary to the centralized management node. The centralized management node assigns a packet delay budget (PDB) information to a data radio bearer (DRB) per hop of at least one user equipment (UE).
Abstract:
A method for transmitting a plurality of data packets is disclosed. The method includes: receiving one or more first medium access control (MAC) protocol data units (PDUs) which include a plurality of radio link control (RLC) PDUs intended for a destination UE from a source UE; demultiplexing the first MAC PDUs to retrieve the RLC PDUs based on a header field of each first MAC PDU; generating a plurality of RLC PDU segments from one or more of the RLC PDUs or a plurality of RRLC (Relay RLC) PDUs from all of the RLC PDUs according to one or more MAC PDU sizes, wherein the RRLC is a protocol layer between the MAC layer and the RLC layer; multiplexing the RLC PDUs and the RLC PDU segments or the RRLC PDUs into one or more second MAC PDUs; and transmitting the second MAC PDUs to the destination UE.
Abstract:
According to one exemplary embodiment, the method includes configuring, in a system information block, a parameter of the access control mechanism which indicates a first access class of the multiple access classes is barred; transmitting a first paging message which includes an indicator indicating the parameter of the access control mechanism has been modified; not allowing any random access associated with the first access class in response to the first access class being barred; configuring, in the system information block, the parameter of the access control mechanism, wherein the parameter of the access control mechanism indicates the first access class of the multiple access classes is no longer barred; transmitting a second paging message which comprises the indicator indicating that the parameter of the access control mechanism is modified; and allowing a random access associated with the first access class after the first access class no longer being barred.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for notifying activations of extended access barring (EAB) and updates of EAB information in the field of Long Term Evolution (LTE) wireless communication systems have been proposed. In accordance with the present disclosure, the eNB notifies MTC devices of EAB changes from a paging message through the paging channel (PCH). The network could use either a single bit EAB status indicator to notify whether the EAB has been enabled or disabled or use multiple bits EAB indicator to represent different EAB parameter changes in addition to whether the EAB has been enabled or disabled. Based on the present disclosure, the network could reduce the paging overhead by require the MTC device to acquire the EAB-SIB only when it needs the EAB information.
