Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to determine provenance for data supply chains are disclosed. Example instructions cause a machine to at least, in response to data being generated, generate a local data object and object metadata corresponding to the data; hash the local data object; generate a hash of a label of the local data object; generate a hierarchical data structure for the data including the hash of the local data object and the hash of the label of the local data object; generate a data supply chain object including the hierarchical data structure; and transmit the data and the data supply chain object to a device that requested access to the data.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and use cases for geofence-based edge service control and authentication are discussed, including an orchestration system with memory and at least one processing circuitry coupled to the memory. The processing circuitry is configured to perform operations to obtain, from a plurality of connectivity nodes providing edge services, physical location information, and resource availability information associated with each of the plurality of connectivity nodes. An edge-to-edge location graph (ELG) is generated based on the physical location information and the resource availability information, the ELG indicating a subset of the plurality of connectivity nodes that are available for executing a plurality of services associated with an edge workload. The connectivity nodes are provisioned with the ELG and a workflow execution plan to execute the plurality of services, the workflow execution plan including metadata with a geofence policy. The geofence policy specifies geofence restrictions associated with each of the plurality of services.

Abstract: An architecture to enable verification, ranking, and identification of respective edge service properties and associated service level agreement (SLA) properties, such as in an edge cloud or other edge computing environment, is disclosed. In an example, management and use of service information for an edge service includes: providing SLA information for an edge service to an operational device, for accessing an edge service hosted in an edge computing environment, with the SLA information providing reputation information for computing functions of the edge service according to an identified SLA; receiving a service request for use of the computing functions of the edge service, under the identified SLA; requesting, from the edge service, performance of the computing functions of the edge service according to the service request; and tracking the performance of the computing functions of the edge service according to the service request and compliance with the identified SLA.
