    Abstract: A method for slice authentication in a mobile telephone network. A WTRU performs, during a registration procedure with an Access and Mobility management Function, AMF, of a network, primary authentication of the WTRU, during which registration procedure the WTRU receives from the AMF a message indicating successful registration and including at least one of an indication of at least one network slice-specific authentication and authorization for slice access, SSSA, procedure to be executed following the registration procedure, a list of slices for which the WTRU is allowed access, and a list of slices for which SSSA is needed for access by the WTRU, and performs, after successful registration, at least one SSSA of the WTRU for accessing a first slice in the network.

    Abstract: In an implementation, a second device, for example a second WTRU, may receive a Link Modification Request (LMR) message from a first device, for example a first WTRU, via a first relay. The LMR message may include one or more new MSBs for a new Key NR ProSe identifier (KNRP ID). The second WTRU may send a link modification accept (LMA) message to the first WTRU via the first relay. The LMA message may include one or more new LSBs for the new KNRP ID. The second WTRU may form the new KNRP ID by combining the one or more new MSBs with the one or more new LSBs and replacing an existing KNRP ID with the new KNRP ID. The second WTRU may also receive a direct connection request (DCR) message from the first WTRU via a second relay. The DCR message may include the new KNRP ID.

    Abstract: Method and apparatus for secure access control in wireless communications are disclosed. In an example, a method includes receiving a broadcast message including system information, identifying a first set of hashed identifiers (IDs) and a first random number based on the system information, and each ID of the first set of hashed IDs is individually hashed using at least the first random number. The method also includes calculating a first hash value for each ID of a second set of IDs using at least the first random number, determining whether at least a hashed ID of the second set of IDs matches a hashed ID of the first set of hashed IDs, and sending a request message based on a determination that at least a hashed ID of the second set of IDs matches a hashed ID of the first set of hashed IDs.

    Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and systems are disclosed. A method, implemented by a Wireless Transmit/Receive Unit (WTRU) may use a first Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) not affected by a disaster condition and a second PLMN affected by a disaster condition. The method may include: receiving from a CAG cell of the first PLMN, broadcast information indicating: (1) that the CAG cell supports disaster inbound roaming (DIR) of WTRUs associated with the second PLMN and (2) that the CAG Cell accepts CAG-supporting disaster inbound roamers; selecting the CAG cell of the first PLMN based on the broadcasted information; and sending a Registration Request message including information indicating a DIR indication and an identifier of the second PLMN. The method may further include receiving new CAG information associated with the first PLMN; and initiating a cell (re)selection procedure using the new CAG information associated with the first PLMN.

    Abstract: Methods, apparatus and systems are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method, implemented by a Wireless Transmit/Receive Unit (WTRU) registered to a first network, includes receiving, from the first network, information indicating a value to be used during a registration to a second network; and determining, based on at least the indicated value, at least a first start time and a second start time from which to perform the registration to the second network. The method further includes initiating the registration to the second network after the first start time; and on condition that the registration is not completed within a defined period after the first start time: (1) halting the registration to the second network, and (2) initiating a second registration or re-registration of the WTRU to the second network after the second start time.
