摘要： A coating gun includes: a high-voltage generating device that is used to generate high voltage; an air motor that is a motor portion to which the high voltage is applied; a bell cup that is supported on a rotary shaft of the air motor and to which the high voltage is applied; a CCV unit that selectively supplies a plurality of types of coatings to the bell cup; a gun body that is a casing and that contains the high-voltage generating device, the air motor and the CCV unit; and a coupling portion that is used to couple the gun body to a robot arm and that is grounded. The air motor and the CCV unit are electrically connected to each other via a first resistor, and the coupling portion and the CCV unit are electrically connected to each other via a second resistor.

A coating gun comprises a blot preventing device including a ring-shaped electrode unit having a plurality of needle electrodes protruding radially at a substantially equal spacing radially outward from an annular base member, and a high-voltage generator for applying a high voltage to the electrode unit. The needle electrodes are connected in parallel with the high-voltage generator through individual resistors, block-by-block resistors and built-in resistors.

Wires (53) are connected to the connector (50) to take out high voltage leak caused by contamination like a deposition of paint on outer surfaces of the atomizer (6) through the wires 53 to control the high voltage generator (20) to lower the value of the high voltage applied to the bell head (18) of high voltage leak detected through the wires (53) is larger than a predetermined threshold value.
