    摘要: An optical information recording medium having a disk-shaped substrate formed with spiral grooves on one main surface, and having an optical reflection layer formed with grooves at the surface corresponding to the grooves of the substrate for reflecting a laser beam, an optical recording layer, a protective layer, and an optical transparency layer in this order on the main surface thereof. The optical information recording medium has a main information area and a sub-information area to the inner circumferential side thereof, in which the track pitch TrB of the grooves in the sub-information area is about 0.32 μm or less, and the depth D of the grooves and the half-band width W of the grooves satisfy a relation represented by: W≧2D+70, whereby the difference between the reflectivity at the land surface and the reflectivity at the groove surface in the sub-information area can be restricted to less than 30%, thereby preventing occurrence of mis-decipherment for BCA marks.

    摘要: An optical information recording medium is provided having a superior jitter property even when an organic substance is used for a recording layer. The optical information recording medium has a substrate having a penetrating hole in a central portion thereof and a spiral pre-groove provided in one surface of the substrate, a reflection layer provided on the surface of the substrate in which the pre-groove is provided, a recording layer which is provided on the reflection layer and which is composed of an organic substance including a dye, and a light transmissive cover layer provided on the recording layer. In the optical information recording medium, the cover layer has an elastic modulus of 40 MPa or less at 25° C. in an interface region facing the recording layer.

    摘要: An optical information recording medium includes a disk-like substrate having a hole in a central portion thereof, and a light-reflective layer, a dye recording layer containing an organic dye, an intermediate layer composed of an inorganic substance, and a light-transmissive layer composed of a resin disposed in that order on one principal surface of the substrate, in which information is recorded/reproduced by irradiation of laser light from the light-transmissive layer side. In the optical information recording medium, the light-transmissive layer covers a surface of the intermediate layer from an inner peripheral edge of the intermediate layer to an outer peripheral edge of the intermediate layer, and a vicinity of an outer peripheral edge of the light-transmissive layer is in contact with the substrate in an annular region extending around an outer peripheral side of the substrate.

A transfer surface of the stamper is positioned substantially flush with a first surface of an inner peripheral holding member for holding the stamper near an inner periphery thereof which first surface is positioned adjacent to the transfer surface of the stamper. A first distal end of the inner peripheral holding member, which is positioned to face the cavity, and a second distal end of a die member, which is positioned to face the cavity, the die member being disposed adjacent to the inner peripheral holding member, are both projected more into the cavity than the transfer surface of the stamper. A molding burr can be suppressed from projecting upward from the vicinity of an inner peripheral edge of the substrate surface substantially flush with the transfer portion.

    摘要: Proposed are a method of fabricating an optical information recording medium that can prevent the degradation of the appearance caused by a hardening resin entering between a center cap and a substrate due to capillary action, and an optical information recording medium using a substrate for implementing the method.The optical information recording medium has a reflective layer and a recording layer on a first surface of a circular substrate having a through hole in a center part, and an optically transparent cover layer is provided on the recording layer. The substrate has an inner diameter of an area near an opening of the through hole on the first surface greater than that of another portion of the through hole. A step part is formed on the surface on the light incident side, that is, formed around the through hole on the surface on which the reflective layer and the recording layer are formed.

    摘要: An optical information recording medium of which the commercial value is not reduced is provided, in which a light reflection layer, an optical recording layer, a first light transmission layer, and a second light transmission layer are provided in this order on one main surface of a disk-shaped substrate, and a method of manufacturing the optical information recording medium is provided. A light reflection layer, an optical recording layer, a protection layer, a first light transmission layer, and a second light transmission layer may be provided in this order on the one main surface of the disk-shaped substrate. The substrate has a first groove and a second groove approximately concentrically formed nearer an inner circumference of the substrate than an area in which the optical recording layer is to be provided. The first light transmission layer is provided such that an edge thereof is situated near an edge of an outer circumferential side of the first groove. The second light transmission layer is provided such that an edge thereof is situated near an edge of an outer circumferential side of the second groove. Therefore, each of the first and second light transmission layers does not meander at an inner circumferential edge thereof in a circumferential direction, leading to excellent quality in appearance.
