    摘要: Disclosed is an energy-trapping-by-frequency-lowering-type piezoelectric-resonance device utilizing a higher harmonic in the mode of thickness-extensional vibration, in which at least three electrodes for energy trapping are arranged so as to be overlapped with each other in the direction of thickness of layers of piezoelectric material forming a plate-shaped body. The three electrodes comprise a pair of outermost electrodes and at least one inner electrode. The diameter of one polygonal side of at least one outermost electrode is made larger than the diameter of one polygonal side of an inner electrode.

    摘要: A vibrating gyroscope includes a vibrator having a longitudinal direction and being capable of vibrating in a bending mode in a bending direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. The vibrator has first and second nodes which elongate in a direction perpendicular to both the bending direction and the longitudinal direction and first, second, third and fourth supporting members connected to the vibrator such that the first node is interposed between the first and second supporting members and the second node is interposed between the third and fourth supporting members. The first node is located at the vicinity of either the first supporting member or the second supporting member, and the second node is located at the vicinity of either the third supporting member or the fourth supporting member.

    摘要: In a trap circuit a plurality of cascade-connected three-terminal piezoelectric ceramic resonators having different resonance frequencies, an inductor is connected between input and output terminals of only the resonator having the lowest resonance frequency, and a resistor is connected between input and output terminals of each remaining resonator, so that large attenuation is attained at the respective resonance frequencies and a large attenuation is attained in intermediate regions between the resonance frequencies. Thus, unwanted signals can be eliminated over a large bandwidth.

    摘要: Piezo-electric assembly having a piezo-electric resonator of trapped energy type assembled within a forming case. A bulkhead within the case prevents manufacturing defects due to internal spreading of conductive paste, regardless of variations in the coating amount of the conductive paste in mass production or variations in the mount pressure. Constant clearance exists between the internal connecting portions of the external terminals and the draw-out electrode (input/output) electrodes of the resonator, so that any variation in the conductive paste coating amount or the mount pressure is compensated.

    摘要: A liquid sensor mounted on the side wall of a liquid tank for detecting the existence of liquid in the tank. The sensor includes an element which generates a vibration in the direction of its thickness, of energy-trapped type for detecting the existence of liquid. The element consists of electrodes provided on both sides of a piezo-electric substrate, one side of the element for contacting the liquid in the tank being covered with a liquid-proof coating. The existence of liquid is detected from the change in resonance impedance or antiresonance impedance resulting from the liquid contact.
