Abstract: A display panel according to one embodiment of the disclosure includes: a flexible substrate; a plurality of self-luminescent elements; a plurality of TFT circuits provided between the flexible substrate and the plurality of self-luminescent elements; a first inorganic film covering each of the TFT circuits; a second inorganic film covering each of the self-luminescent elements; and a resin layer covering the second inorganic film and covering at least a portion of the first inorganic film in contact with an end portion of the second inorganic film. The first inorganic film is provided between the plurality of TFT circuits and the plurality of self-luminescent elements, and has a step portion. The step portion is a thinned portion of the first inorganic film opposed to an end portion of the flexible substrate.

Abstract: A display apparatus includes a flexible display panel, a drive board that drives the display panel, a flexible board that connects the display panel and the drive board, a core to which the drive board is fixed, rolls up the display panel and the flexible board, and a connection member including a plate-shaped member that is layered on the display panel, connects the display panel and the core, and is rolled up around the core along with the display panel and the flexible board. The plate-shaped member includes a first part overlapping the display panel and curved when the display panel is rolled up around the core and a second part overlapping the flexible board and curved when the flexible board is rolled up around the core. In a roll-up direction, an elongation rate of the second part is smaller than that of the first part.

Abstract: A display includes a display panel, a shock dispersion layer, a strain relaxation layer, and a shock absorption layer. The shock dispersion layer is provided on a light-extraction side of the display panel and has a Young's modulus of 50 GPa or greater. The strain relaxation layer is provided between the shock dispersion layer and the display panel and has a Young's modulus lower than the Young's modulus of the shock dispersion layer. The shock absorption layer is provided between the strain relaxation layer and the display panel and has a storage modulus of 10 kPa or greater and 1 MPa or less at a room temperature.

Abstract: A display unit includes a display panel and a first protective sheet. The display panel has a light-emitting surface. The first protective sheet is provided on the light-emitting surface. The first protective sheet provided in the display unit includes a first impact dispersion layer, a first strain relaxation layer, and a gel-like first impact absorption layer. The first impact dispersion layer has a pencil hardness of 3H or higher. The first strain relaxation layer has flexural strength and tensile strength both higher than the flexural strength and the tensile strength of the first impact dispersion layer. The gel-like first impact absorption layer has a thickness of a submillimeter order or more. The first impact absorption layer, the first strain relaxation layer, and the first impact dispersion layer are arranged in this order from the light-emitting surface.

Abstract: A display includes a display panel and a first protection sheet. The display panel has flexibility and a light output face. The first protection sheet is provided on the light output face and includes a first shock dispersion layer, a first strain relaxation layer, and a first shock absorption layer. The first shock dispersion layer includes a flexible reinforced-glass member, a flexible hard-coat film, or a flexible double-sided hard-coat film. The first strain relaxation layer includes a wet-laminated layer or a dry-laminated layer that is in close contact with a surface of the first shock dispersion layer adjacent to the display panel. The first shock absorption layer includes a gel layer having a thickness of submillimeter order or greater. The first shock absorption layer, the first strain relaxation layer, and the first shock dispersion layer are laminated in this order from the light output face of the display panel.
