Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method for manufacturing a microstructure, the method comprising: (a) placing a viscous composition on a substrate; and (b) applying negative pressure to the viscous composition to induce an extension of the viscous composition, thereby forming a microstructure, and a microstructure manufactured therefor. According to the present invention, a microstructure can be formed without performing a heat treatment by applying a negative pressure. Consequently, it is possible to mount on a microstructure various materials that are sensitive to heat and easily damaged or degenerated. According to the present invention, a microstructure can be manufactured in a non-contacting manner, that is, without being contacted with conventionally used another structure such as a mold or filler. This leads to overcome a loss caused during a process of separating a microstructure in contact or a cutting process involving a physical destruction after the completion of molding a microstructure and limit on the production yield.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a microstructure, the method comprising the steps of: (a) preparing a viscous composition on a lower substrate; and (b) applying centrifugal force to the viscous composition to induce extension of the viscous composition, thereby manufacturing a microstructure. According to the present invention, (i) a microstructure having a micro-unit diameter and sufficient effective length and hardness is provided; (ii) any process that may destroy activation of a drug or cosmetic component, such as high-temperature treatment, organic solvent treatment, etc., is avoided; (iii) loss resulting from contact and separation is reduced; (iv) the limitation of aspect ratio of the manufactured microstructure is overcome; (v) the limitation of yield resulting from flatness is overcome; and (vi) microstructures of various shapes can be manufactured.

Abstract: Disclosed are a microstructure-based drug delivery system comprising a microporous structure and a method for manufacturing the same, and more specifically, a detachable microstructure-based drug delivery system using a microporous structure layer and a method for manufacturing the same, thereby skipping a drying step which is essential for the manufacturing process of the existing biodegradable microneedle, and solving the problem in that the hardness of the microneedle is reduced when the microneedle contains drugs, failing to penetrate the skin. Here, the microstructure is implantable in the body through the insertion into the body and detachment from the microporous structure, and the detachable microstructure can be applied to wrinkled (skin movement) and corrugated parts through a detachment function thereof.

Abstract: Provided is a rotating assembly. The rotating assembly is for forming a microstructure, and comprises: a rotating body rotatable about a rotary shaft; a first support member installed on the rotating body so as to be spaced apart from the rotational shaft and having a predetermined viscous composition disposed on an outer surface thereof; and a fluid communicating portion for communicating the inside and the outside of the rotating body, wherein when the rotating body rotates, the viscous composition is pulled in a radially outward direction of the rotary shaft, and the pulled viscous composition is cured through the fluid communicating portion, thereby forming a microstructure.
