摘要: Technologies are generally described for the storage of biologics and other fluid materials while maintaining aseptic conditions. A system may include a storage body providing a reservoir for containing the materials. A cap may couple to the storage body forming a fluid-tight seal. A port may be provided for transferring the materials. A seal, or valve, may be provided within the port. The seal may be configured to close off the reservoir unless acted upon to release the materials through the port. A movable member may make up part of the storage body. The movable member may be configured to change a reservoir volume of the storage body in response to changes in a volume of the materials. The reservoir may become smaller as the materials are released. Multi-dose volumes of fluid materials may be stored for repeated access with reduced risk of contamination and reduction in shelf life.

摘要: A method and apparatus which configures a printer for printing ordered stock by using a template. The template has various parameters which the user inputs. Examples of input parameters involve the printing of tabs. A user inputs tab parameters such as the number of positions, text offset per tab, tab media size, text rotation, document reading order, tray source, tab font size, tab font type, tab sheet location and tab text. Templates can be saved and repeatedly used. A user can save and create new templates or edit previously created templates.

摘要: A catheter for treatment of chronic total occlusions includes an occlusion breach device, a catheter body made of a temperature-dependent softening, shape-memory, thermoplastic polymer having a first flexible state and a second stiff state. The catheter body has a heat transfer conduit and a conduit for slidably receiving the breach device. A heat-transferring device selectively changes a temperature of the heat transfer conduit to, thereby, change stiffness of the catheter body between the two states. To treat a CTO with the catheter, it is warmed above the glass-transition temperature and below the melting-temperature to make the catheter flexible. The catheter has a shape when inserted at the occlusion site and is cooled to, thereby, stiffen. Breaching of the occlusion is assisted with the stiff catheter. The catheter is removed by warming the polymer. Also provided is a method for manufacturing such a selectively stiffening catheter.
