摘要： A template clamping apparatus is disclosed for clamping a fabric against a quilt making template. The apparatus includes a base which has an upper surface and a lower surface. A turntable is supported by the base, the turntable defining a working surface which is rotatable relative to the base. An arm is rigidly connected to the base, the arm having a first and a second end. A clamp is connected to the second end of the arm such that when the clamp is disposed in a loading disposition thereof, loading of the fabric between the quilt making template and the turntable is permitted. However, when the clamp is disposed in a clamping disposition thereof, the fabric is clamped between the quilt making template and the turntable. The arrangement is such that relative movement between the quilt making template and the fabric is inhibited while permitting the fabric sandwiched between the turntable and the quilt making template to rotate relative to the base so that cutting of the fabric in conformity with the quilt making template is facilitated.

摘要： A board game device is disclosed in which each player has a board and a plurality of game pieces which movably cooperate with a series of fixed locations on the board. The arrangement is such that when a game is being played, movement of the game pieces between the fixed locations depends on a value indicated by a thrown die. The game device includes a plurality of the boards which are substantially identical to each other so that several players can interactively play the game with each player being assigned one of the boards. Each board has a first surface and a second surface which is disposed spaced and parallel relative to the first surface. The first surface of each board defines the series of fixed locations, the series including a base row for each of the player's game pieces. Each board defines a first interlocking portion and a second interlocking portion, the second interlocking portions being spaced relative the first interlocking portion. The interlocking portions are located such that the first interlocking portion of one of the boards releasably interlocks with the second interlocking portion of an adjacent board so that any number of players can join in and play the board game.

摘要： A pedal cycle apparatus is disclosed in which a foot of a medically incapacitated user thereof engages a pedal for moving the pedal orbitally about a rotational axis of a crank hub. The apparatus includes a crank arm having a proximal and a distal end, the proximal end of the crank arm being rotatable about the rotational axis of the crank hub. A fastener fastens the pedal relative to the crank arm at a selectively variable radial distance from the rotational axis of the crank hub. The arrangement is such that in use of the pedal cycle apparatus, the foot of the medically incapacitated user engages the pedal so that the pedal moves orbitally about the rotational axis of a crank hub. The pedal rotates about an axis of rotation which is disposed parallel to the rotational axis of the crank hub such that selection by the user of an optimum radial distance of the pedal from the rotational axis of the crank hub is permitted.

摘要： A supporting device is disclosed for the removable attachment thereof to a wooden object such as a tree trunk that avoids the insertion into the wooden object of a metallic fastener that could later damage machinery used while processing the wooden object. The supporting device includes a support plate having a first face and a second face and a first and a second edge. The support plate defines a plurality of apertures, each aperture of the plurality of apertures extending between the first and the second face of the support plate. A plurality of legs are provided with each leg having a first and a second extremity. Each leg threadably cooperates with a corresponding aperture of the plurality of apertures. A plurality of feet are provided with each foot being attached to a corresponding second extremity of each leg such that in use of the supporting device, the plurality of feet abut against the wooden object for supporting, stabilizing and spacing the support plate relative to the wooden object. The support plate further defines a first slot and a second slot spaced from the first slot with each of the slots extending from the first face to the second face. An elongate flexible strap has a first termination and a second termination such that in use of the supporting device, the flexible strap extends through the first slot and the second slot of the support plate. A tensioning fastener attached to the flexible strap includes a first portion secured to the first termination of the flexible strap. A second portion is attached to the flexible strap between the second termination of the flexible strap and the first portion of the tensioning fastener. The arrangement is such that in use of the supporting device, the flexible strap loops around the wooden object and the first portion of the tensioning fastener cooperates with the second portion of the tensioning fastener for selectively tensioning the flexible strap. The flexible strap extending between the first slot and the second slot of the support plate is disposed between the support plate and the wooden object.
