    摘要: An image display having a display panel including pixels in a matrix pattern, anodes formed corresponding to the pixels, a cathode in common with the anodes, EL elements provided between the anode and the cathode and including a light emitting layer, and TFTs for controlling the current supply to the EL elements. The display also has a scan driver for selecting pixel lines on the display panel, a data driver for applying RGB display signals corresponding to a pixel line of the display panel when the pixel line is selected, and a display controller for using a current value fed back by the common cathode and externally input RGB data to correct a white gray level of the RGB data and to generate RGB display data to the data driver.

    摘要: An organic light emitting display (OLED) device having an automatic brightness control apparatus that can control the luminance of the OLED device according to the brightness of ambient light. The OLED device includes a light sensor adapted to sense ambient light and produce an output voltage corresponding to the ambient light. The automatic brightness control apparatus is adapted to adjust a gamma value to the output voltage and output a gamma reference voltage. The automatic brightness control apparatus is adapted to sense a change in the ambient light by synchronizing the output voltage of the light sensor with a vertical synchronization (Vsync) signal. Accordingly, the gamma value varies with the brightness of the ambient light so that the luminance of the OLED device is controlled according to the brightness of the ambient light.

    摘要: An organic light emitting display (OLED) device having an automatic brightness control apparatus that can control the luminance of the OLED device according to the brightness of ambient light. The OLED device includes a light sensor adapted to sense ambient light and produce an output voltage corresponding to the ambient light. The automatic brightness control apparatus is adapted to adjust a gamma value to the output voltage and output a gamma reference voltage. The automatic brightness control apparatus is adapted to sense a change in the ambient light by synchronizing the output voltage of the light sensor with a vertical synchronization (Vsync) signal. Accordingly, the gamma value varies with the brightness of the ambient light so that the luminance of the OLED device is controlled according to the brightness of the ambient light.

    摘要: A display device and a driving method thereof in which if an input 2D/3D video signal is a 2D video signal, an image data signal is generated by applying a first gamma correction curved line. If the input 2D/3D video signal is a 3D video signal, an image data signal is generated by applying the second gamma correction curved line. Luminance of a maximum grayscale of the first gamma correction curved line is set to be lower than luminance of a maximum grayscale of the second gamma correction curved line. Therefore, it is possible to prevent luminance of the display device from deteriorating by a barrier in a 3D driving mode.

    摘要: An organic light emitting display and a method for driving the same is disclosed. A pixel portion includes a plurality of pixels, which receive a plurality of scan signals, a plurality of emission control signals, and a plurality of data signals to display images. A data driver for generating and transferring the plurality of data signals to the pixel portion using video data. A scan driver transfers the plurality of scan signals and the plurality of emission control signals to the pixel portion. An optical sensor controls luminance of the pixel portion according to peripheral (or ambient) light. A current controller limits an electric current flowing through the pixel portion according to a sum of the video data input during a frame when the peripheral light sensed by the optical sensor has luminance equal to or greater than a predetermined value in order to control the luminance.

Codes needed to operate the HDD are stored in a prescribed area of a disk. A hard disk drive boot code and a servo core code are stored in a flash ROM of prescribed capacity. The codes stored in the disk is uploaded to a RAM of prescribed capacity by using the codes stored in the flash ROM, thus to implement the actual operation of the HDD.

When the first data supplied from the timing controlling unit has a digital bit corresponding to one of a first range for displaying white-related colors and a second range for displaying black-related colors, the converting unit converts the first data into the second data having a digital bit corresponding to one of the second and first ranges, respectively.
