    摘要: An apparatus for driving a plasma display panel that includes first and second signal lines for supplying first and second voltages, respectively, and first and second inductors coupled to one terminal of a panel capacitor. A first current path is formed from the panel capacitor to the second signal line via the second inductor to drop the voltage of the panel capacitor from the first voltage to the second voltage. A second current path is formed to recover the current flowing to the second inductor towards the first signal line, while the voltage of the panel capacitor is sustained at the second voltage. A third current path is formed from the first signal line to the panel capacitor via the first inductor while the current flowing to the second inductor is recovered, to raise the voltage of the panel capacitor from the second voltage to the first voltage. A fourth current is also formed to recover the current flowing to the first inductor towards the first signal line, while the voltage of the panel capacitor is sustained at the first voltage.

A charger generates a resonance between the inductor and the panel capacitor to charge the panel capacitor to the address voltage, while the current of the second direction flows to the inductor and the conductive pattern.

    摘要: According to an exemplary driving method of a plasma display panel of the present invention, waveforms having a reset function, an address function, and a sustain discharge function are applied to a scan electrode while sustain electrodes are biased at a ground voltage. A board for driving the sustain electrodes and a switch for supplying a ground voltage is eliminated and accordingly manufacturing cost of driving boards is reduced. Various circuits for generating the desirable waveforms and simplifications that do not compromise the effectiveness of the circuits are also presented.

The method includes, if an MCBCS initialization request message is received from an MCBCS server, sending a burst reservation request message for MCBCS burst allocation to one or more Base Stations (BSs) in a corresponding Multicast and Broadcast Service (MBS) zone, and if a burst reservation response message is received from at least one of the one or more BSs, sending a Resource Reservation (RR) request message for each channel to the at least one of the one or more BSs for establishing data channels for each channel broadcast by the MCBCS server.
