The method includes feeding the packaging sheet through a gluing station, applying at least one glue bead parallel to an edge of the packaging sheet, spraying glue onto at least a portion of the packaging sheet, and guiding the packaging sheet onto an outer surface of the material web roll.

摘要： A device and method for packaging a web roll, having a longitudinal axis, with a packaging sheet. The device includes a packaging sheet dispenser which dispenses the packaging sheet to produce a body packaging by dispensing, on at least a portion of a longitudinal extent of the web roll, the packaging sheet. The packaging sheet dispenser is positioned to dispense the packaging sheet to form an acute angle between the lateral direction of the packaging sheet and the longitudinal axis. The packaging sheet dispenser is further arranged to dispense the packaging sheet to produce an end packaging having an axial projection on an end of the web roll. The packaging sheet dispenser is posited so that the lateral direction of the packaging sheet is substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis. During the production of the body packaging, the web roll migrates, which leads to problems in the subsequent placement of the face cover by the packing presses. To ease these problems, the packaging device further includes a packing press device that includes packing presses positioned to move parallel to the longitudinal axis. The packing presses are associated with end faces of the web roll and are independently positionable. The method includes forming an end packaging at a first end of the web roll that includes an axial projection, axially moving a packing plate toward the first end of the web roll, sensing the axial projection of the end packaging of the web roll, detecting placement of the packing plate relative to the axial projection, and pressing the packing plate against the first end of the web roll.

The depository centers and turns the covers so that each cover is properly oriented relative to the transporting device. The latter has two pivotable pushers which can pivot the tongues of a properly centered and oriented cover and thereupon insert the pivoted tongues into one end portion of a core.

摘要： Apparatus for applying labels to the peripheral surfaces or to the end faces of bulky cylindrical objects has a carrier which is transportable up and down as well as toward and away from the labelling station. The carrier supports a suction head which is pivotable about a horizontal axis extending transversely of the direction of movement of the carrier toward and away from the labelling station, and a roll which is rotatable about its own axis as well as pivotable about an axis which is parallel to its own axis and to the pivot axis for the suction head. The latter picks up a horizontal label from a source which is spaced apart from the labelling station, the underside of the label is rendered adhesive while the carrier advances toward the labelling station, the label is then moved into a vertical plane so that its adhesive surface confronts the adjacent surface of the object, and the roll is caused to repeatedly move along and bear against the non-adhesive side of the label in order to apply the label to the object at the labelling station. The movements of the suction head and roll about their respective pivot axes can be carried out independently of each other, the same as the movements of the carrier between different levels and toward and away from the labelling station.

A packaging strip dispenser has a packaging material delivery device. A position of the packaging strip delivery device is adjustable so that an acute angle is defined between a longitudinal axis of the packaging material being dispensed by the packaging material delivery device and a circumferential direction of the roll of web material. The circumferential direction is a direction that is tangent to a circumferential surface of the roll and is parallel to an axial end of the roll. The packaging material is axially movable with respect to the roll of web material. A first strip of the packaging material is placed against the roll so that a longitudinal axis of the first strip of packaging material is disposed at an acute angle with respect to the circumferential direction of the roll of web material. The first strip of packaging material is helically wrapped around the roll of web material.
