摘要: Maintaining Multiple Valid Concurrent Serialized Object Versions Techniques are disclosed for concurrently maintaining serialized objects that were created from more than one version of a class definition. According to preferred embodiments, a component maps and enforces multiple valid stream-unique version identifiers (“SUIDs”) for a collection of class definitions (such as the classes of a software product that is undergoing change from one version to another). This component programmatically detects when an object's SUID value does not match the code attempting to deserialize the object, and then programmatically determines whether the object is compatible with the code even though the SUID values do not match. Preferably, this determination is made by consulting a stored mapping, in which the SUIDs of compatible versions have been recorded.

摘要: A sway control apparatus for a trailer comprising an electromagnetically actuated brake drum mounted horizontally on the draw bar frame of the trailer. Means are provided on the rotatable drum of the brake to which are connected ends of chain links. The other ends of the chains extend forward and connect to opposite ends of a cross bar member fixed to the hitch means directly below the hitch ball. The cross bar member and the two spaced chains connected to the brake drum form a parallelogram which is normally free to shift positions during normal driving. When swaying occurs, the sway control brake is manually actuated to fix the parallelogram in position thereby preventing or dampening the return sway. A pressure sensing device is fitted at the side of the trailer adjacent the rear thereof. The pressure sensing device will actuate a switch when air pressure is exerted on the side of the trailer sufficient to cause swaying of the trailer. This pressure switch closes a separately energized circuit to the sway control brake when the sway of the trailer is initiated by air pressure caused by passing truck vehicles. This circuit operates independently of the drivers manual control to immediately prevent initiation of the trailer sway caused by the side air pressure.

摘要: A method of producing a textile article having a localized finish is described. The method comprises providing a continuous supply of a textile substrate, providing an array of digital nozzles, supplying a finishing composition to the nozzles and selectively depositing the finishing composition from the nozzles in a series of droplets to deposit a first predetermined pattern of droplets on a selected area of the substrate to endow a functional characteristic on the selected areas. In this way, it is possible to ensure that only those areas receive the finishing composition that ultimately require it. Usage of valuable chemicals and process time can hereby be reduced.

摘要: A method of providing deposits of a functional composition on a textile substrate (1) is described. The method comprises providing a supply of the textile substrate (1); providing a first digital nozzle; supplying a functional composition to the first nozzle; providing a second digital nozzle; supplying an encapsulating composition to the second nozzle; selectively depositing the functional composition from the first nozzle to form a series of functional droplets (10) on the substrate (1); and selectively depositing the encapsulation composition from the second nozzle to form a series of encapsulation droplets (16) to at least partially cover the functional droplets (10). In this way, quantities of highly specific functional compositions or “agents” may be precisely deposited at those locations where they are required and may subsequently be covered by an encapsulation composition.

摘要: A finishing composition is described for deposition by dot-on-demand inkjet technique onto a textile substrate. The composition comprising a dispersion or emulsion of a functional finishing agent in a vehicle, wherein the size of particles in the dispersion or emulsion of the finishing composition is less than about 2 microns. By ensuring sufficient fineness of the particles, effective and reliable droplet deposition may proceed without clogging. Of significance, the composition should not be subject to flocculation or sedimentation during use.
