摘要: An automatic deceleration control apparatus for a vehicle operates so as to secure appropriate tire grip performance, depending on the conditions of a road surface on which the vehicle runs turning, and restrain excessive rolling of the vehicle body, there by stabilizing the turning behavior of the vehicle at all times. While the vehicle is turning on a high-friction road surface without undergoing haw moment control, a safe vehicle speed is computed within the rollover limit of the vehicle. While the vehicle is turning on a low-friction road surface under haw moment control, on the other hand, a safe vehicle speed that ensures satisfactory tire grip performance is computed in accordance with an estimated road friction coefficient. When the vehicle is about to exceed its safe speed as it turns, it is automatically decelerated to the safe speed or below. Thus, the vehicle can be prevented from spinning, drifting out, or rolling over.

摘要: A valve device for a pneumatically-operated vehicle brake system can adjust the pneumatic brake pressure that can be fed to a brake in a controlled manner. A first variant of the valve device is configured as a modulator for use in an electronically regulated embodiment of the brake system; and a second variant is configured for use in a pneumatically controlled embodiment of the brake system. However, both variants have pneumatic interfaces and mechanical fastening points that are configured substantially identically with respect to one another to facilitate conversion of the brake system from one such embodiment to another.

摘要: A valve device for brake control of a different pressure medium-operated vehicle brake systems comprises a housing that has pressure medium ducts. A relay valve provides a pneumatic control pressure, which is fed to the relay valve via at least one of the pressure medium ducts at a higher flow rate. At least one insert is pneumatically connected to at least two of the pressure medium ducts, which can be pneumatically connected to each other by the insert. The two pressure medium ducts define a pressure medium path, the profile of which differs based on the housing that is in each case selected and/or switched based on the selected insert. The housing is selected from a set of housings having different pressure medium ducts, in particular bores, but which are otherwise essentially similar. The insert is selected from a set of different inserts.

摘要: The invention relates to a system (1) having at least one valve device (4, 4′, 4″, 4′″) for a pneumatically operated brake system (90, 90′) of a vehicle, wherein the brake system (90, 90′) has the valve device (4, 4′, 4″, 4′″) and at least one brake (92, 94, 98, 100). By means of the valve device (4, 4′, 4″, 4′″) a pneumatic brake pressure which can be fed to the brake is adjusted in a controlled manner. According to the invention, the system has at least two variants (12, 14) of the valve device (4, 4′, 4″, 4′″) which can be used alternatively in the brake system (90, 90′). Here, a first variant (12) is configured as a modulator for use in an electronically regulated embodiment of the brake system (90), and a second variant (14) is configured for use in a pneumatically controlled embodiment of the brake system (90′). However, both variants (12, 14) of the valve device (4, 4′, 4″, 4′″) have pneumatic interfaces (24, 26, 28, 30) and mechanical fastening points (16, 18, 20, 22) which are configured identically with respect to one another. Furthermore, the invention relates to the valve device (4, 4′, 4″, 4′″) for the system (1), and a brake actuation device (6, 6′, 6′″), a trailer control valve device (8, 8′) and a device for controlling (10, 10′) in each case for this system (1). Moreover, the invention relates to a brake system (90, 90′) for a vehicle with at least one replacement component (2) of the system (1), to the vehicle, the use of a component of a brake system as component (2) of the system (1), and a method for retrofitting a brake system, in which method a component of the brake system is replaced by a component (2) of the system (1) according to the invention.
