In addition, the spring motor mechanism includes an indecator (800) which reveals the amount of torsional energy stored in the spring (300). This can be used by an operator to approximate the time remaining before the spring (300) must be re-wound. The invention also includes an adjustable swing height system (700) that allows the operator of the swing to determine a maximum swing height and also prevents the over-swinging of the child seat (116).

摘要： A repair system including a closure prosthesis and deployment device, and associated methods for repairing any imperfection including a flaw, hole, tear, bulge, or, in some cases, a deliberate cut or incision in any tissue including an intervertebral disc. The prosthesis has first and second side portions with a connecting central portion, and is designed to span an imperfection with opposite ends positioned on opposite sides of the imperfection. The prosthesis may include anchoring features including barbs and/or members that extend transversely. The deployment device can include a canula for positioning the prosthesis near the imperfection, and, in some cases, a mechanism that may cause the two sides of the prosthesis to be deployed in a specific order.

摘要： A pocket, lid and shield for casting a pulling iron in a concrete structure are described. The pocket includes a slot reinforced with stiffening members for receiving the pulling iron. The pocket also includes a frangible support post for supporting the pulling iron when it is received in the pocket. Also described are embodiments of a shield, which include clipping members adapted to engage the stiffening members, for covering the slot, and a lid having a lip for engaging a peripheral groove in the pocket. Methods of over-molding a pulling iron cable are also described. According to the methods, a temporary seal, which can be used in over-molding a subsequent pulling iron cable, can be formed simultaneously with each over-molded product. During molding, the cable can be held in the center of a channel in the mold tool using a retractable magnetic pin.

摘要： A plastic insert for concrete structures includes a barrel for receiving a threaded fastener. According to one embodiment, the insert includes a housing at a distal end receiving an internally threaded member for engaging the threaded fastener. The insert includes bar-engaging members at the distal end for contacting concrete-reinforcing bars of the concrete structure. The insert also includes a bar-engaging member at the proximal end including a retainer defining a substantially semi-circular channel for receipt of a U-shaped portion of a bar. According to another embodiment, the insert includes a base at the distal end extending outwardly from the barrel to define an anchoring surface oriented perpendicular to the barrel axis. Longitudinal ribs on the barrel include segments arranged in series. Each segment of the rib extends radially to a distance that decreases with each succeeding segment such that each segment defines a bearing surface.

摘要： A molded plastic insert is intended for use in a concrete form for making a socket in a concrete structure adapted for engagement with a tool. The insert has an interior bore with an open end, a closed end and two opposed channels extending longitudinally from the open end toward the closed end to receive flanges of a tool. Each longitudinal channel terminates near the closed end in a generally annular channel adapted to receive one of the tool flanges such that the tool can be prevented from extraction from the insert by a quarter turn rotation of the tool flanges in the annular channels in the manner of a bayonet lock. The insert has on an exterior surface one or more generally annular ribs and opposite longitudinal projections corresponding to the interior longitudinal channels. The insert is constructed from two essentially identical molded half pieces.
