The housing includes a gap between the split body and the side wall. A compressed spring forces the split body toward a bottom of the ramp surface.

    摘要： An anchor holder for concrete decks comprises a body for being inserted into an opening in a metal deck, the body including an outside vertical wall and an opening for receiving an anchor. The body includes arms normally biased extending outwardly from the vertical wall, the arms being collapsible toward the body when the body is inserted into the opening in the metal deck and expanding outwardly after passing the opening to be disposed below the metal deck. A support is attached to the body, the support to engage a top surface of the metal deck to apply an upward force on the body and keep the collapsible arms engaged against an underside of the metal deck when the body is attached to the metal deck.

    摘要： An apparatus and method is disclosed that allows for the efficient installation and connection of steel beams to a concrete foundation. A steel beam support embed according to the present disclosure can be readily set in place during the forming of the concrete foundation via detachable anchors, thus allowing the installer to avoid rebar or other foundation components that would otherwise need to be moved or adjusted for proper placement of the embed. A steel beam support embed as disclosed herein also, after its installation in the concrete foundation, provides for adjustable connection to a steel beam without the need for field welding.

The insert includes a metal nut, captured within the channel, having an aperture and a third transverse width substantially greater than the first transverse width. The longitudinally elongated slot and longitudinally elongated channel are interconnected with the aperture of the captured metal nut accessible through the slot to provide an adjustable anchoring or connection point to other structural components. Various attachment features allow the insert to be positioned within formworks with or without direct attachment to the forming surface of a concrete form member.
