The method comprises: performing a first detection of at least one bio-signal from at least one user; controlling a user output device to initiate a user alert, after performing the first detection of the at least one bio-signal; performing a second detection of the at least one bio-signal from the at least one user, after initiating the user alert; and processing the first detection of the at least one bio-signal and the second detection of the at least one bio-signal to determine whether one or more changes in the at least one bio-signal pass a significance test.

    摘要: A system and method are proposed for measuring confusability or similarity between given entry pairs, including text string pairs and acoustic model pairs, in systems such as speech recognition and synthesis systems. A string edit distance (Levenshiten distance) can be applied to measure distance between any pair of text strings. It also can be used to calculate a confusion measurement between acoustic model pairs of different words and a model-driven method can be used to calculate a HMM model confusion matrix. This model-based approach can be efficiently calculated with low memory and low computational resources. Thus it can improve the speech recognition performance and models trained from text corpus.

One example method includes determining a behavior relevance factor for a user interface item, determining a semantic relevance factor for the user interface item, and determining an internal state of a user relevance factor for the user interface item. The example method further includes generating an overall relevance value for the user interface item. The overall relevance value may be a function of the behavior relevance factor, the semantic relevance factor, and the internal state of the user relevance factor.
