The processor is also configured to maintain a second implicit registration set for a second apparatus, where the second implicit registration set includes a second identity unique to the second apparatus and the shared identity. In this regard, the first and second implicit registration sets may be maintained to enable registration of the first and second apparatuses with a network such that each of the first and second apparatuses are configured to receive communication requests to the respective first and second identities, and such that both of the first and second apparatuses are configured to receive communication requests to the shared identity.

When intending to establish or modify a session or connection or use a service, the user equipment selects, in one of the embodiments, an item from the list and performs a DNS query to resolve the name of the selected item to an IP address which then is used for set-up. The list may be provided by an DHCP server or in a PDP context message. The list may comprise one or more service provider default names, in particular for visited and home networks.

When it receives a session request identifying the user, it checks whether the session request matches the user filter criterion, and outputs the session request to a defined service platform when the session request matches the user filter criterion. The element is arranged to retrieve, before forwarding the request to the service platform, a capability information element that indicates the dynamic capability of a user to utilize the service provided by the service platform. If the information element indicates that the user is not capable to utilize the service provided by the service platform, the session is terminated. Incoming messages can be appropriately managed already in the network element responsible for service control, and thus additional load and unnecessary charging considerations can be avoided.

摘要： Charging criteria in a mobile telephone network may be improved by choosing one cell or a group of several cells of the mobile telephone network as a group of special cells. The cells of the group may be located in the areas of different MSC's. When a call is being established, a service control point SCP located in an intelligent network analyses whether the location cell of a calling subscriber and that of a called subscriber belong to the group of special cells. Subscriber numbers of the subscribers may also be taken into account. The service control point SCP then applies a special charging criterion determined for the group. In a case where the location cell of the calling subscriber and that of the called subscriber are located in separate MSC areas (MSC1/SSP1, MSC2/SSP2), the information on the location cell of the called subscriber is transmitted to the service control point (SCP1) connected to the mobile switching center (MSC1/SSP1) of the calling subscriber either directly or in a message in accordance with signalling used between MSC's.
