摘要: Apparatus and methods for separating a fluid, with the apparatus including a rotatable drum having an inner drum wall and an outer drum wall disposed around the inner drum wall to define a separation passage therebetween. The apparatus also includes radial separator blades that are curved in a circumferential direction and are disposed in the separation passage of the drum, the radial separator blades extending radially at least partially between the inner drum wall and the outer drum wall. The apparatus further includes a first circumferential separator blade that is curved in a radial direction and is disposed in the separation passage of the drum, the first circumferential separator blade extending at least partially around the inner drum wall. The apparatus also includes a housing disposed around the drum and configured to receive a higher-density component of the fluid separated in the separation passage.

摘要: A one-piece connector for connecting electric cables to an electrical outlet box comprises a tubular body having an inner portion adapted to fit inside an opening in an outlet box, an outer portion adapted to receive a sheathed cable therein, an annular shoulder on the connector for abutting the outer surface of the box wall, a pair of arcuate lugs provided at diametrically opposite sides of the connector for passage through recesses in the edge of the box opening when the connector is inserted in the opening, the lugs having arcuately spaced opposite side edges, raised arcuate portions between the shoulder and the arcuate lugs which exceed the diameter of the opening in the box wall and become wedged against the edge of the opening when the connector is rotated in the opening, the arcuate raised portions each beginning at one side edge of one of the arcuate lugs and terminating medially between the opposite side edges of the respective arcuate lug, flat raised portions beginning at the medial terminus of the arcuate raised portions and continuing to the other side edge of the arcuate lugs providing a raised surface of increasing diameter as the connector is rotated in order to limit the rotation of the connector in the box opening, an annular bushing inside the tubular body which is integral with the connector and is adapted to fit between the cable sheath and cable insulation at the end of a cable inserted in the outer portion of the tubular connector, and inwardly depressed helical tongues formed integral with the connector in the outer portion for engaging grooves in the cable sheath and locking the cable in the connector.

摘要: An electric outlet box having a support flange projecting laterally outwardly from one side of the box is attachable to a flange of a channel-shaped metal wall stud common to dry wall construction by the support flange and suitable fasteners. A leveling screw is threaded through a threaded hole in the bottom of the box adjacent the side of the box opposite to the side from which the support flange projects. The leveling screw projects through the bottom of the box with one end thereof being inside the box and slotted, and the other end being outside the box and provided with an enlarged flat head. The leveling screw is manually adjustable by a screw driver engaged in the slotted end in order to engage the enlarged screw head with a rear wall panel supported by the metal stud behind the box and to level the box with respect to a front wall panel supported by the metal stud.The particular arrangement of the outlet box and mounting with reference to the dry wall and metal stud constitutes part of the present disclosure.
