摘要： A finger wipe that can fit onto a human finger is provided. The finger wipe can be used as a substitute for cotton balls, swabs, and/or gauzes, or as an oral cleaning device. The finger wipe includes at least one reservoir that contains a composition. The composition may be a liquid or a solid. For example, in one embodiment, the composition may comprise a cleaning solution, a pharmaceutical, or a skin-conditioning agent. The reservoir is constructed such that the reservoir can be ruptured. For instance, in one embodiment, the reservoir may be ruptured by squeezing two fingers together. In this manner, the composition is released when desired for use in conjunction with the finger wipe.

摘要： The present invention relates to a spot cleaner that includes a first absorbent pad and a second absorbent pad. The first absorbent pad includes a cleaner. The spot cleaner further includes a moisture proof barrier that is between the first absorbent pad and the second absorbent pad. The moisture proof barrier encloses the first absorbent pad to keep the cleaner inside the moisture proof barrier. In some embodiments, the moisture proof barrier has a first layer that is attached to the first absorbent pad and a second layer that is attached to the second absorbent pad. The first and second layers of the moisture proof barrier may be separable to allow a hand to be inserted between the first and second layers so that the hand is able to manipulate the spot cleaner without any portion of the spot or cleaner contacting the hand.

摘要： A diagnostic test unit is provided. The test unit comprises a stem having a first end and a second end, the stem defining at least one flow channel extending between the first end and the second end. A swab is disposed at the first end of the stem, the swab being configured to collect a test sample derived from a biological source that is suspected of containing an analyte. The test unit also comprises a fluid chamber configured to contain a fluid, wherein the fluid chamber is in fluid communication with the swab via the flow channel. The test unit also comprises a rupturable seal that inhibits leakage of the fluid from the fluid chamber prior to use, and an assay for detecting the presence or absence of the analyte. The assay is in fluid communication with the swab, the flow channel, and the fluid chamber.

Such wipes are generally more efficient, in that a greater percentage of the total surface area of the wipe is used for its intended purpose: cleaning and wiping. Furthermore, such wipes generally may more tenaciously engage certain kinds of fastening devices, thereby making these wipes potentially more effective. 摘要： The invention relates to a disposable device for supplying a material to a vagina. The disposable device includes a housing, a membrane and a material (e.g., a liquid) that is enclosed by the membrane. The disposable device further includes a core that is positioned within the housing. The core is movable within the housing to open the membrane. In some embodiments, the core includes a handle and a swab secured to the handle such that the swab absorbs the liquid that was originally within the membrane. In some embodiments, the membrane includes an elastic member that seals the liquid inside the membrane and the housing includes resilient members that close the second end of the housing. The resilient members engage the elastic member such that the elastic member opens as the core moves within the housing to force the resilient members apart and dispense the material from the membrane.
