摘要: An apparatus for sealing a substrate assembly by applying a force to the assembly while simultaneously exposing the substrate assembly, and in particular a sealing material disposed between two substrates of the substrate assembly, to an irradiating beam of electromagnetic energy. The beam heats, cures and/or melts the sealing material, depending upon the sealing material to form the seal. The force is applied by directing a flow of fluid against the substrate assembly, and beneficially improves contact between the substrates of the substrate assembly and the sealing material during the sealing process, therefore assisting in achieving a hermetic seal between the substrates.

摘要: An apparatus for sealing a glass package by applying a force to a glass assembly while simultaneously irradiating a sealing material disposed between the two glass substrates with a beam of radiation. The applied force is translated in unison with the radiation beam. The radiation cures and/or melts the sealing material, depending upon the sealing material. The applied force beneficially improves contact between the glass substrates and the sealing material during the sealing process, therefore assisting in achieving a hermetic seal between the substrates.

摘要: An approach to collect and interpret results from Y2H screens uses high-throughput next-generation sequencing technologies. In particular, this system is appropriate to generate comprehensive profiles of protein-protein interactions (PPIs), allowing also a side-by-side comparison of specific PPI patterns with that from control samples and allows a direct comparison of PPI patterns displayed by proteins in their wild-type and various mutant conformations. While sample preparation relies to the most part on established transcriptome and RNA sequencing procedures, this invention also encloses a specific DNA preparation step to sequester irrelevant and contaminating sequences from the sample.

摘要: A magnetic suspension planar motor comprises a structure of superconductor excitation. A primary base plate is in a shape of board. Armature windings are fixed on an air gap side of the primary base plate. A secondary base plate in a secondary structure is evenly divided into 2 h*2 h magnet cells. 2 h2 superconducting magnets are respectively fixed in the magnet cells on the secondary base plate, which resembles a checkerboard pattern. The superconducting magnets are adjacent to each other, neither in a horizontal direction nor in a vertical direction. The superconducting magnets are magnetized parallelly, and magnetization directions of the superconducting magnets are perpendicular to a surface on an air gap side of the secondary base plate. The superconducting magnets in a same row or column have same magnetization directions, and the superconducting magnets in adjacent rows columns have contrary magnetization directions. A cooling container shields all of the superconducting magnets.

摘要: A sealing device and method are described herein that can be used to manufacture a hermetically sealed glass package. In one embodiment, the hermetically sealed glass package is suitable to protect thin film devices which are sensitive to the ambient environment (e.g., oxygen, moisture). Some examples of such glass packages are organic emitting light diode (OLED) displays, sensors, and other optical devices. The present invention is demonstrated using an OLED display as an example.
