摘要： A conference table includes a work surface having one or more central openings. A utility distribution system is positioned below the central opening on a support channel. The support channel defines separated wireways for communicating separated utilities along the support channel. The utility distribution system further includes a plurality of W-shaped utility modules positioned on beams of the support channel below the central opening. The utility modules set end-to-end in an arrangement that facilitates initial installation and later retrofit or repair. The table is supported on legs that define a vertical wireway space, and further include a repositionable divider configured to selectively subdivide the vertical wireway space into subwireways of different cross-sectional sizes for accommodating different cross-sectional sizes of utility conduit bundles. A removable double-pivoted door is releasably supported to cover the opening and to provide easy access to the opening from either side of the tabletop.

摘要： A conference table includes a large elongated work surface having one or more elongated central openings dividing the work surface into opposing half sections, with each opposing half section including work areas large enough for a conference meeting. A utility distribution system is positioned below the elongated central opening on a support channel. The support channel defines separated wireways for communicating separated utilities along the support channel, such as power wiring, telecommunication wiring, and network or video cabling. The utility distribution system further includes a plurality of W-shape utility modules positioned on beams of the support channel below the elongated central opening. The utility modules set end-to-end in an arrangement that facilitates initial installation and later retrofit or repair. Each person at the conference can access and connect to the utility outlets from above the work surface for operating or receiving individual utilities for the conference, but characteristically can access and connect to the utility outlets without the persons reaching awkwardly under an edge of the work surface. The table is supported on tubular legs that define a vertical wireway space, and further include a repositionable divider configured to selectively subdivide the vertical wireway space into subwireways of different cross-sectional sizes for accommodating different cross-sectional sizes of utility conduit bundles. A removable double-pivoted door is releasably supported to cover the opening and to provide easy access to the opening from either side of the tabletop.

The disclosed power and cable distribution system includes alignment members for facilitating and maintaining proper alignment of adjacent elongate members mounted on connected worksurfaces, gap trim pieces for covering gaps between adjacent, aligned powerways and/or cableways, and an infeed trim piece for feeding conduits or cables into the distribution system.

摘要： A modular wireway which is adapted to be utilized with easily mountable, demountable and remountable attachments includes an elongate member which is mountable to a support surface and at least one connector which is adapted for mating with a connector on a removably attachable cable management trough or a removably attachable modesty panel, or both. The disclosed elongate member has a generally I-shaped transverse cross-section and includes an upper horizontal flange member configured to be mounted on a support bracket secured to a support surface, a web which depends from the upper horizontal flange member, and a lower attachment flange connected to the lower end of the web. The attachment flange includes one or more connectors which allow attachment of one or more removable closures which together with the elongate member define an enclosed raceway, a rigidly connected auxiliary cable management trough, a hingedly connected cable management trough, and/or a modesty panel. The modular wireway invention allows furniture and the like to be quickly and easily configured and reconfigured as desired to provide powerways and auxiliary wireways for communication cables.

摘要： The present invention provides an arrangement for attaching a flexible elastomeric panel integrally formed with one or more female connectors to an automotive body support surface having one or more associated male connectors in a blind assembly connection. Each female connector comprises a cutting-tooth shaped notch molded in an attaching flange of the panel while the male connector comprises a elongated stem projecting from the support surface. The elongated stem includes a backing plate positioned in parallel spaced relation to the support surface defining a layered gap therebetween. The panel flange is moved into flush contact with the support surface enabling the support flange to be received in a layer-like gap with the stem adapted to be received in a lean-in passage of the female connector. As a result the blind assembly connection is permitted upon the panel being slid relative to the support surface in a self guided manner whereby the stem is cammed into a retaining groove portion of the notch in a resilient snap-in manner.
