摘要: Wireless communications systems may support flexible waveform configuration for autonomous uplink transmissions. A base station may transmit broadcast signaling (e g , a system information block (SIB)) indicating waveform configuration information for an autonomous uplink transmission by a user equipment (UE). In some cases, the broadcast signaling may include a waveform configuration field (WCF) that may indicate whether flexible waveforms for autonomous uplink are supported, may configure a waveform type, may indicate waveform configuration mapping rules, etc. As such, a UE may identify whether flexible waveform configuration for autonomous uplink is supported, and may determine waveform types for autonomous uplink transmissions based on waveform type configuration information from a base station (e.g., which may include an indication of whether flexible waveform configuration is supported, an indication of waveform type/scenario mapping rules, etc.), one or more LUTs, identified autonomous uplink scenarios, autonomous uplink transmission parameters, or some combination thereof.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a response message associated with a random access message, wherein the response message includes an identifier of the UE; select a format of an uplink channel or an uplink signal for acknowledging successful decoding of the response message; determine a transmit power for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgment (ACK) information based at least in part on at least one of: a message type of the response message, a mode of random access associated with the random access message, a power control configuration used by a previous transmission of the random access message, or the format of the uplink channel or the uplink signal; and transmit the HARQ ACK information using a power control procedure based at least in part on the transmit power. 摘要: Aspects are provided to support payloads for msgA transmission in a two-step random access (RACH) procedure by providing a one-to-many mapping arrangement between preambles and physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) resource units (PRUs). A preamble is determined by the UE which is mapped to one or more groups of PRUs to support piggybacking of uplink control information (UCI), frequency hopping on PUSCH, and multiple-slot repetition for msgA transmissions. By piggybacking UCI to a payload in msgA, flexibility may be provided in the selection of MCS and waveform as well as resource allocation for demodulation reference signals (DMRS) and PUSCH in PRUs. Moreover, by allowing a payload to hop to different frequencies on PUSCH during the transmission of msgA, a gain in frequency diversity and interference averaging may be provided, and by enabling a payload to repeat across multiple slots in msgA transmission, coverage enhancement and/or reliability may be increased.

The resource configuration may identify multiple sets of transmission resources corresponding to multiple radio resource control (RRC) states. The UE may identify an RRC state and may determine a set of transmission resources and/or a transport format based on the indication of the resource configuration, the identified RRC state, and/or a UE identifier (UE ID). The UE may transmit a first RA procedure message (e.g., a msgA) using the determined transmission resources and/or transport format. The base station may receive the message and may identify the RRC state of the UE based on the first message and transmitted indication of the resource configuration. The base station may transmit a second RA procedure message (e.g., a msgB), which the UE may receive.

摘要: Various aspects are described for schemes that address the potential puncturing of important reference signals (RSs) for enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) applications, such as demodulation reference signal (DMRS), channel state information reference signal (CSIRS), tracking reference signal, and general reference signal. The schemes can be used for recovery of eMBB's RS puncturing from dynamic multiplexing of ultra-reliable-low-latency communications (URLLC) and eMBB. The schemes include a block-based scheme and an over-provisioning scheme. The schemes modify an existing RS pattern before puncturing occurs in response to a presence of the URLLC traffic. In addition, there can be an option not to use (e.g., disable) time-domain orthogonal cover code (TD-OCC) for the RSs.

摘要: Increased symbol length of uplink pilot time slots (UpPTS) in special subframes is disclosed in which a configuration of a first special subframe may be independent from configuration of a second special subframe in the same frame, such that the first UpPTS of the first special subframe is longer than the second UpPTS of the second special subframe. The second UpPTS of the second special subframe may also be longer than legacy UpPTS length in select configurations. A serving base station may select the special subframe configurations in order to balance sounding reference signal (SRS) capacity for compatible user equipments (UEs) and downlink throughput for legacy UEs. The selected special subframe configurations may be transmitted by the serving base stations. In additional aspects, compatible UEs may be configured with at least two separate SRS power control parameters for use in the additional and legacy UpPTS symbols.

One or more multiple access-capable user equipments (UEs) may be grouped together for transmitting uplink multiple access communications to a base station, where the UEs may be assigned to the group based on similar capabilities or service requirements. The UE may receive configuration information based at least in part on the group to which the UE has been assigned. When assigned to a group, the UEs may also receive a group-specific scrambling code for the uplink multiple access communications, a group-specific power control for the uplink multiple access communications, time and frequency resources to be used for the uplink multiple access communications specific to the group, or a combination thereof. Additionally, the specific time and frequency resources may be defined by multiple access resource units.
