    摘要: An environmentally friendly polymerization catalyst for polyalkylene terephthalate which does not use a heavy metal such as antimony, and a method for producing polyalkylene terephthalate using the catalyst. The catalyst for polymerizing a polyalkylene terephthalate is a titanium oxide sol containing an organic solvent as a dispersion medium, the sol has a light transmittance of not less than 50%, the light transmittance being measured by adjusting a concentration of the titanium oxide in the sol to 0.7 g/L and setting an optical path length to 1 cm in a wavelength range of 400 to 800 nm, and the amount of hydroxyl groups per 1 g of titanium oxide is not less than 1.8 mmol.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide an environmentally friendly polymerization catalyst of polyalkylene terephthalate which does not use a heavy metal such as antimony.     摘要: Disclosed are polyketone fibers which contain a ketone unit represented by —CH2CH2—CO— as a main repeating unit, and have an intrinsic viscosity of not less than 0.5 dl/g, a crystal orientation of not less than 90%, a density of not less than 1.300 g/cm3, an elastic modulus of not less than 200 cN/dtex, and a heat shrinkage of −1 to 3%. The polyketone fibers are high in strength and elastic modulus, and excellent in fatigue resistance, processability, heat resistance, dimensional stability, and, besides, adhesion, and, therefore, can be applied to the fields which require high fatigue resistance, such as tire cords, belts, hoses, ropes, etc.

    摘要: A polyester fiber is disclosed, comprising a polyester obtained by copolymerizing a third component with poly(trimethylene terephthalate) wherein the third component is an ester-forming sulfonate compound in a copolymerizing ratio of from 0.5 to 5 mol %, the fiber has a peak temperature of loss tangent of from 85 to 115° C., and the relationship between modulus Q (g/d) and elastic recovery R (%) of the fiber satisfies the following formula (1): 0.18≦Q/R≦0.45. This fiber can be dyed into a dark shade under atmospheric pressure and enables fast dyeing of a fabric using the fiber in composite with a stretch fiber represented by polyurethane elastic fiber or a fiber material having low heat resistance such as wool silk and acetate fiber. The composite fabric can be dyed under atmospheric pressure, therefore, the physical properties of fiber having low heat resistance used in combination is not impaired during the dyeing process. The polyester fiber of the present invention can be treated for caustic reduction, therefore, a fiber having highly soft and dry touch and dyeability into brilliant color can be obtained.

    摘要: A polyester resin composition containing, as a resin component, a polyester with its main component formed from a polytrimethylene terephthalate and having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.4 to 2, which satisfies the following conditions (1) to (3): (1) the polyester resin composition is composed of a polyester resin component comprising 90% by weight or more of a polytrimethylene terephthalate; (2) the polyester resin composition contains 0.01 to 3% by weight of titanium oxide having an average particle size from 0.01 to 2 &mgr;m; and (3) the polyester resin composition contains 25 or less/mg of the resin of agglomerates of titanium oxide particles which agglomerates have a lengthwise size exceeding 5 &mgr;m. A polytrimethylene terephthalate-based polyester fiber, having a low frictional coefficient, excellent in wear resistance, and showing a suitable luster and a delustered effect, can be stably spun and drawn by applying a melt spinning method to the polyester resin composition. In addition, the resin composition is prepared by forming a 1,3-propanediol ester of terephthalic acid and/or its oligomer in the presence of a fine dispersion of titanium oxide in which the dispersion the agglomerates is controlled and subjecting the ester and/or its oligomer to a polycondensation reaction.
