摘要： An interface apparatus for modifying the natural pressure distribution of a ski, particularly an alpine ski, along its gliding surface. The apparatus includes a vertically mobile rear sensor on which the rear end of the boot is supported; a rocking device journalled around a transverse axis, the rocking device having an approximately horizontal arm to which the sensor transmits its vertical movements, and a substantially vertical arm; and a linkage assembly connecting the vertical arm of the rocking device to the base of the front binding element, whereby the forces exerted through the sensor are transmitted to the base of the front binding element. The linkage assembly includes a linkage plate, which is rigid when compressed, that is connected to the base of the front binding element by a journal raised with respect to the upper surface of the ski, the length of the linkage plate being substantially equal to the distance between its connection to the base and the vertical arm of the rocking device, so that, in a lowered position, the linkage plate is in support against the vertical arm of the rocking device and transmits to the base the forces of the sensor.

摘要： A safety ski binding, for retaining the end of a boot to a ski until a threshold bias force is exerted, includes a body for connection to the ski, and a jaw mounted on the front of the body for movement between a closed position at which the jaw is adapted to engage and retain the end of the boot to the ski, and an opened position at which the jaw is adapted to either free the end of the boot or to receive the end of the boot into the binding. Elastic return apparatus is provided for the purpose of resiliently maintaining the jaw in either its closed or opened position. A manually operable lever having a handle is mounted on the body for movement between closed and opened positions. The handle and the jaw have first cooperable elements for moving the jaw to its opened position in response to movement of the handle from its closed to its opened position. The handle and jaw also have second cooperable elements for moving the jaw to its closed position in response to movement of the handle from its opened to its closed position. The second cooperable elements include a front edge on the handle engageable with a portion of the upper surface of the jaw.

摘要： A device for modifying the pressure distribution of a ski over its gliding surface. The ski has a base and two binding elements. It further includes a long stiffening member which extends above the base of the ski and which has opposite ends affixed to the ski by base plates. Furthermore, the device includes a calibration device to induce a compression stress in the stiffening member that can vary between two values depending upon the presence or absence of the boot. According to a preferred embodiment, the calibration device includes a toggle joint mechanism constituted by a pair of journalled levers, one of the levers bearing the braking arms for the ski. The invention also is directed to a ski brake.

The device includes two binding elements, a mobile sensor, a return rocking device, and an element affixed to the ski. 摘要： The invention relates to a binding for a boot on a ski, including a toe-piece, a connection member having a front end secured to the ski and a rear end, the connection member being provided with a hook-engagement structure, a rear base adapted to be attached to the ski and a hooking mechanism associated with the rear base. The hooking mechanism includes a gripping member which is movable with respect to the rear base and is capable of moving into a first position in which it engages the hook-engagement structure of the connection member so as to limit a vertical movement of the rear end of the connection member, and a first return member exerting a force on the gripping member so as to move the latter toward the toe-piece. The binding also includes a heel-piece connected to the rear portion of the connection member. The longitudinal position of the heel-piece in relation to the connection member is adjustable.
