    摘要: A mobile communication system includes a network based aggregation controller for controlling aggregation of component carriers from a first spectrum and a second spectrum. In addition, the mobile communication system includes a group of mobile terminals. The network based aggregation controller is configured to send a group message on at least one component carrier of the first spectrum to the group of mobile terminals. The mobile terminals receive the group message. A terminal based aggregation controller in each of the mobile terminals is configured to control operation of the respective mobile terminal with respect to the at least one component carrier of the second spectrum. This control is accomplished in response to the received group message.

    摘要: In a communication system using aggregation of component carriers, a transmitter comprises a transmitting entity configured to transmit data messages on multiple component carriers. The transmission of the data messages is accomplished on the basis of a retransmission protocol. The retransmission protocol requires sending of an acknowledgement message in response to verifying correct receipt of a data message. A receiver comprises a receiving entity configured to receive the data messages on the basis of the retransmission protocol. In response to a decision to deactivate transmission on one of the aggregated component carriers, the retransmission protocol is triggered to retransmit those data messages for which no acknowledgement message of the retransmission protocol has been received. The retransmission is accomplished on at least one other of the component carriers. A further retransmission protocol may be used on each of the component carriers, with respective transmitting entities in the transmitter and respective receiving entities in the receiver.

The method comprises transmitting a request for information regarding channels available for secondary usage to the remote entity, and receiving information from the remote entity, the information indicating a channel available for secondary usage, a critical position associated with said channel, and an interference threshold for the critical position. The method also comprises deriving a constraint for the allocation of said channel to the at least one white space device, based on a position of the at least one white space device, the critical position, and the interference threshold, and allocating said channel and a transmit power to the at least one white space device based on the derived constraint, whereby the interference generated in the critical position by the at least one white space device is kept below the interference threshold.

    摘要: In an example embodiment, a network node transmits secondary signal component of a combined wireless communication signal to a user equipment. The combined wireless communication signal includes the secondary signal component and a primary signal component. Secondary pilot resources of the secondary signal component are dynamically shifted relative to primary pilot resources of the primary signal component by an amount that is based on whether a current estimation procedure at the user equipment is a primary channel estimation procedure or a secondary channel estimation procedure. In a corresponding example embodiment, the user equipment receives the combined wireless communication signal with the dynamically shifted pilot resources. The user equipment estimates the primary channel in the primary channel estimation procedure and estimates the secondary channel in the secondary channel estimation procedure.
