In one example, a MIP includes an electromagnetic piston pump, a circuit board, and a housing. The pump is configured to deliver a therapeutic agent from a reservoir through an implantable catheter. The circuit board includes programmable electronics configured to control the pump to deliver the therapeutic agent through the catheter. The pump and the circuit board are sealed within the housing. The MIP is sized to be at least one of harnessed to or implanted in a non-human test subject including a weight greater than or equal to approximately 150 to approximately 250 grams.

The fluid flow path and the vapor flow path are generally fluidly isolated from each other. The vapor recovery valve further includes a vapor control valve positioned in the vapor flow path. The vapor control valve is movable between a first position wherein the vapor control valve at least partially impedes the flow of vapor therethrough and a second position wherein the vapor control valve does not impede or less impedes the flow of vapor therethrough compared to when the vapor control valve is in the first position. The vapor recover valve includes an actuator magnetically coupled to the vapor control valve. The actuator is configured such that sufficient fluid flow through the fluid flow path in a first direction causes the actuator to move the vapor control valve from the first position to the second position in a second direction that is generally not the same as the first direction.

The stabilizer is added in an amount of 0.01-5 weight % and serves to increase the reaction rate.

    摘要: A hypodermic syringe projectile for animal usage characterized by a hollow housing which receives an axially movable body member. A chamber for receiving treatment liquid is defined between an end of the body member and an end of the housing which mounts an injection needle. The body member is retained in a fully retracted or filled position by flexible fingers on a wall thereof which selectively engage an end of the housing and which are maintained in such retained position by a weight. Movement of the weight upon impact with an animal releases the body member for movement from the retained position and forces the treatment liquid from the chamber through the injection needle.

The nozzle includes a suction generator configured to generate a suction force in at least part of the suction path when fluid to be dispensed flows through the fluid path.
