    摘要: A method and system for determining a path between nodes in a network are disclosed. In accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure, a system for determining a path between nodes in a network comprises a destination node and a link aggregation group (LAG) that includes a first link and a second link. The system further comprises a source node communicatively coupled to the destination node by the LAG where the source node, the LAG and the destination node form a path. The source node is operable to determine a link availability status for each of the first and second links using a layer-2 protection scheme. The source node is further operable to monitor the path for connectivity based on the link availability status using a layer-3 protection scheme.

Multiple versions of a program component are available, and a specific version is dynamically selected for downloading based on current attribute values. Attribute values may represent a user's authorization privileges, current working environment, preferences, network connection type, status, etc. In this manner, software can be optimized for particular users or groups of users, or particular environments of hardware and/or software, while still providing applications that are usable by a wide range of users in a wide range of operating environments. In another aspect, this dynamic selection based on attributes can be used to select a version of a component for remote execution, instead of for downloading. The dynamic selection process may occur on a server in the network, or on the client's local machine. In the latter case, selected component versions may be loaded from local storage instead of downloading them from a server. Administrative policy information based on the user's identity and/or group membership may be used to generate the current attribute values, reflecting one or more of: a user's current working environment, authorization privileges, preferences, network connection type, and status.

    摘要: A high pressure metering pump employs a flexible diaphragm extending radially from a piston as the moving pump element. The diaphragm is secured by an annular anvil at its periphery to form a high pressure seal, and the center of the diaphragm is driven reciprocally by a mechanically driven piston. A support assembly for the diaphragm includes a moveable metal ring concentric about the piston and an elastic, resilient ring concentric about the piston and interposed between the metal ring and the diaphragm. The elastic resilient ring is formed of a material such as neoprene, Viton, or the like to mediate and distribute the force between the diaphragm and the metal ring. This assembly allows the diaphragm membrane to support the high pressures that are prevalent in HPLC.
