摘要: A variable displacement piston pump, having: a housing, a pivot assembly to pivot between minimal and maximum pivot angles; a pump cover defining an actuator bore with an actuator piston, an actuator arm extending from the actuator piston to the pivot assembly; and an electronic control unit (ECU) coupled to the pump, the ECU having: a pump controller, a linear variable differential transducer (LVDT) coupled to the pump controller and the actuator piston, and an electrohydraulic solenoid valve (EHSV) coupled to the pump controller, the ECU is configured to: determine a pivot differential for the pivot assembly between a target pivot angle and a current pivot angle; determine a position differential for the actuator piston, corresponding to the pivot differential of the pivot assembly; control the EHSV to move the actuator piston by the position differential; and determine, from the LVDT, that the actuator piston moved by the position differential.

摘要: A fluid supply system includes: a centrifugal pump; a starting pump that is connected to the centrifugal pump in series, is provided downstream of the centrifugal pump, and has a discharge flow rate less than that of the centrifugal pump; a measuring valve that is provided downstream of the centrifugal pump and the starting pump, measures an amount of fluid discharged from the centrifugal pump or the starting pump, and discharges the fluid to a downstream each time the fluid reaches a predetermined flow amount; a differential pressure valve that is provided downstream of the centrifugal pump and the starting pump, and is driven based on a differential pressure between an upstream pressure and a downstream pressure of the measuring valve; and a flow rate control valve that is provided downstream of the centrifugal pump and upstream of the differential pressure valve and has a valve opening speed that is set slower than that of the differential pressure valve.

摘要: Automatic electric actuation of the pumping mechanism of a liquid dispenser apparatus is provided by configuring a hollow tube to cooperate with an electromagnetically driven actuator and further configuring the hollow tube to inter-fit with a stem of a liquid dispensing pump. Actuation of the actuator may, for example, drive the pump stem downwardly to cause a pumping action. Suitable actuators include, for example, solenoids, voice coil actuators and stepping motors.

A pump engagement body engages with the movable pump member for effecting movement of the movable pump member. A first cam surface and a second cam surface are connected to the pump engagement body, at least one of the first cam surface and the second cam surface comprising an adjustable cam surface whose location relative to the pump engagement body is selectively adjustable. A camming body engages with the first cam surface and the second cam surface to effect movement of the pump engagement body, and a dose adjustment mechanism allows the location of the adjustable cam surface relative to the pump engagement body to be selected.

摘要: An ozone injector device comprising a housing, a corona tube disposed within the housing and configured to generate ozone, a check-valve having a first end removably coupled to the water passageway and a second end configured to receive ozone, the second end having a cavity with a movable float contained therein, an ozone inlet fitting removably coupled to the second end of the check-valve, the ozone inlet being in fluid communication with the corona tube via a corona discharge tube such that ozone entering the water passageway through the ozone inlet must pass through the check valve, and a spring-loaded clearing piston positioned to move into and out of the water passageway directly opposite the ozone inlet, the clearing piston being biased upwards, and configured to prevent flow of ozone into the water passageway.

摘要: A metering pump for a medical injector includes a housing, a sleeve at least partially received within the housing, a piston at least partially received within the sleeve, and an interlock. The piston has a first position where the chamber has a first volume and a second position where the chamber has a second volume, with the first volume larger than the second volume. The sleeve has a first rotational position where an inlet is in fluid communication with the chamber, a second rotational position where an outlet is in fluid communication with the chamber, and a third rotational position where the inlet and outlet are isolated from the chamber. The interlock includes an elastomeric member and a protrusion, where engagement between the elastomeric member and the protrusion is configured to restrict movement of the sleeve until the sleeve overcomes a predetermined torque value.

摘要: A microfluidic flow rate control device for controlling a flow rate of a fluid flowing through a microfluidic conduit includes an inlet terminal for fluid input and an outlet terminal for fluid output, and a microfluidic conduit communicating the inlet terminal with the outlet terminal. The control device also includes; pumps for pumping the fluid through the conduit at a particular flow rate, valves for adjusting the flow rate of the fluid modifying their passageways, and a flow sensor for measuring the flow rate within the conduit and a controller for receiving the measured flow rate, comparing it with a predefined flow rate and instructing the pumps and/or the valves to modify their pumping powers and passageways of the valves, respectively, based on the result of the comparison. The microfluidic conduit, the pumps, the flow sensor and the valves may be arranged inside the protective housing.

摘要: A chemical delivery system connects to a chemical tank and includes a union connected to the tank outlet and providing an antirotation feature, in addition to threads, to prevent rotation of the assembly in response to asymmetric loads. A measuring tube alternately receives liquid from the tank and is isolated from the tank. While isolated from the tank, liquid is withdrawn from the tube by a pump under conditions allowing the pump to be calibrated. The assembly is cantilevered from the tank outlet and is of reduced length and weight producing a device which is not prone to overstress the tank outlet.
