摘要: In a digital image administration method and system, a database of image records is maintained. Data sets are provided. The data sets are each associated with a respective image record. The data sets each include data in a plurality of the categories: capture related data, intrinsic image data, image usage data, and user reaction data. A plurality of the data sets have missing data in different combinations of the categories. A value index of each of the image records is generated from the respective data set. The image records are managed responsive to respective value indexes.

摘要: In an image record organization method, camera, and system, a plurality of image records are provided and a value index is determined for each of the image records. The image records are classified into unacceptable records having respective value indexes within a predetermined threshold and acceptable records having respective value indexes beyond the threshold. The unacceptable records are demarcated from the acceptable records.

摘要: A method of determining the physiological reactivity of an individual with respect to images, comprising: measuring at least one physiological parameter of an individual during a baseline calm period of time; measuring the said at least one physiological parameter of said individual during a stress period of time and a succeeding rest period of time; dividing said measured data for each of said periods of time into a plurality of predetermined time segments; computing a histogram or Fourier analysis as appropriate on said predetermined time segments for each said period of time; standardizing said computed data; conducting a principal component analysis, a canonical discriminant analysis, or a neural network, on said data to establish a baseline calm or rest period set of scores and a stress period set of scores; measuring the said at least one physiological parameter of said individual during an image presentation period of time; repeating said time segmenting, said histogram or Fourier analysis, and said standardizing steps on said measured physiological data for said image presentation period of time; applying said vectors from said conducting step to said image data to produce an image set of scores which are compared with said baseline and stress sets of scores; and determining whether said presented image is activating, deactivating, or neutral based on said comparison.

摘要: Controlling a head-mounted display includes providing a head-mounted display, the head-mounted display includes a switchable viewing area that is switched between a transparent viewing state and an information viewing state. The transparent viewing state is transparent with respect to the viewing area and enables a user of the head-mounted display to view the scene outside the head-mounted display in the user's line of sight. The information viewing state is opaque with respect to the viewing area and displays information in the switchable viewing area visible to a user of the head-mounted display. An external environmental state detector provides an external stimulus notification in response to a detected change in the external environment and causes the viewing state to automatically switch in response to the external stimulus notification.
