    摘要： An electrostatographic type copying or reproduction machine incorporating a programmable controller to operate the various machine components in an integrated manner to produce copies. The controller carries a master program bearing machine operating parameters from which an operating program for the specific copy run desired is formed and used to operate the machine components to produce the copies programmed. A multiple prioritized interrupt system is employed to distribute the operating program to the machine.

    摘要： A method for transferring an image disposed on a medium with an image transfer device. The method comprises the steps of providing the image transfer device with a controller and a reader, reading the image on the medium with the reader, and forming with the controller a modified image from the image on the medium. The reader is operably connected to the controller for reading the image on the medium. The controller forms the modified image from the image on the medium in response to registering with the controller that the image on the medium is larger than a predetermined size. The modified image formed with the controller is smaller than the predetermined size.

    摘要： A printing system with a digital reproduction system communicating with a remote document processing station by way of a print server is provided. The printing system includes a first queue of first jobs to be executed with the digital reproduction system maintained at the print server and a second queue of second jobs to be executed with the digital reproduction system maintained at the digital reproduction system. The printing system further includes a queue process communicating with both the first and second queues for forming a composite queue to reflect an order in which the first and second jobs of the first queue and the second queues are to be executed with the digital reproduction system. In practice, the composite queue is formed by initiating development of the composite queue in response to a request signal with the request signal being generated on the basis of input from the remote document processing station, automatically, electronically obtaining a first set of information reflecting an order of the first jobs in the first queue and a second set of information reflecting an order of the second jobs in the second queue, and merging the first set of information with the second set of information in accordance with a selected criterion for providing the composite queue. A representation of the composite queue is then displayed at a user interface disposed at the remote document processing station.

To successively display the remaining events or time periods between different sets of sensors, it is only necessary to activate a suitable push button on the operator console to display the remaining events in succession.
