Abstract: A heat exchanger for a heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC&R) system includes a shell having an inlet configured to receive refrigerant and an outlet configured to output the refrigerant. The heat exchanger also includes a refrigerant distributor disposed within the shell, and multiple evaporating tubes disposed within the shell and positioned below the refrigerant distributor. The refrigerant distributor includes a perforated plate having multiple holes, each hole extends from a top surface of the perforated plate to a bottom surface of the perforated plate, and a center point of each hole is substantially aligned with a centerline of a respective evaporating tube.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a vapor compression system that includes a refrigerant loop, a compressor disposed along the refrigerant loop and configured to circulate refrigerant through the refrigerant loop, a condenser disposed downstream of the compressor along the refrigerant loop and configured to condense vapor refrigerant to liquid refrigerant, a subcooler coupled to the condenser, where the subcooler is external of a shell of the condenser, and where the subcooler is configured to receive the liquid refrigerant from the condenser and to cool the liquid refrigerant to subcooled refrigerant, and an evaporator disposed downstream of the subcooler along the refrigerant loop and configured to evaporate the subcooled refrigerant to the vapor refrigerant.

Abstract: Disclosed in the present application is a blade and an axial flow impeller using same. The blade comprises a blade tip, a blade root, a leading edge, a trailing edge, an upper surface and a lower surface. The upper surface and lower surface are disposed opposite each other; the blade tip, the blade root, the leading edge and the trailing edge surround the upper surface and the lower surface, and connect the upper surface and the lower surface. The blade is rotatable about a rotation axis, the rotation axis being perpendicular to a normal plane. The blade tip comprises a blade tip base part and a blade tip trailing part, the blade tip base part being close to the leading edge, and the blade tip trailing part being close to the trailing edge and being bent upwards relative to the blade tip base part. An angle of attack of a chord of the blade tip trailing part is greater than an angle of attack of a chord of the blade tip base part, wherein the angle of attack is an acute included angle between the chord and the normal plane. The blade of the present application can provide a large air volume, and has higher static pressure and higher efficiency.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a heat exchange device that includes a condenser configured to receive a refrigerant, an evaporator having an evaporation tube bundle, a throttling device configured to receive a first portion of the refrigerant from the condenser and to expand the first portion of the refrigerant before directing the first portion to the evaporator, and an ejector having a high pressure conduit, a low pressure conduit, and an outlet conduit, the ejector is configured to receive the first portion from the throttling device or a second portion of the refrigerant from the condenser via the high pressure conduit, receive a third portion of the refrigerant from the evaporator via the low pressure conduit, mix the first portion or the second portion with the third portion to form a mixed refrigerant, and direct the mixed refrigerant to the evaporator via the outlet conduit.

Abstract: A condensation and falling film evaporation hybrid heat exchanger is provided, including a shell, a condenser entrance pipe connected to a compressor discharge port, and an evaporator exit pipe connected to a compressor suction port being disposed respectively on the shell. A baffle plate is disposed at a position inside the shell corresponding to the condenser entrance pipe. A refrigerant distributor is disposed in the shell, a condensing tube bundle being disposed above the refrigerant distributor, and a falling film evaporating tube bundle being disposed below the refrigerant distributor. The condensation and falling film evaporation hybrid heat exchanger according to this invention can be used in concert with low-pressure refrigerant, thus efficiently solving the problem of refrigerant distribution with the falling film evaporator using low-pressure refrigerant.
