摘要: A multi-stacked heat exchanger comprises a first heat exchanger and a second heat exchanger. A first end of the first heat exchanger receives a first fluid in a first conduit flowing in a first direction within a plane. A first end of the second heat exchanger receives the first fluid from the first heat exchanger in a second direction flowing opposite to the first direction within the plane. A flow of a second fluid is communicated through the second heat exchanger and then through the first heat exchanger, in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The second fluid is in thermal communication with the first fluid in the second heat exchanger and then in the first heat exchanger. By doubling the flowed first fluid back upon itself, embodiments achieve counterflow between the first fluid and second fluid within a compact space.

摘要: A refrigeration cycle apparatus includes a compressor, a condenser such as an indoor heat exchanger, first expansion means, and an evaporator such as an outdoor heat exchanger that are connected by refrigerant pipes to form a refrigeration cycle. The evaporator is a heat exchanger including a plurality of plate-like heat transfer fins arranged in parallel and subjected to water slip or water repellent treatment, and a heat transfer tube provided in contact with the plurality of heat transfer fins such that refrigerant flows therein. The refrigeration cycle apparatus further includes a drain pan disposed below the evaporator, an evaporator fan for producing an air current flowing to the evaporator, such as an outdoor fan, and a heating unit disposed at a position below the heat transfer fins and on a leeward side of the heat transfer fins.

The condenser has a plurality of refrigerant flow passages and a plurality of first coolant flow passages in alternating arrangement. The evaporator has a plurality of refrigerant flow passages and a plurality of second coolant flow passages in alternating arrangement. The condenser has a refrigerant outlet in flow communication with the refrigerant inlet of the refrigerant reservoir, where the refrigerant side of at least one of said core plates includes a refrigerant communication passage providing flow communication between the refrigerant outlet of the condenser section and the refrigerant inlet of the reservoir section.

摘要: A heat exchanger is provided including a first manifold, a second manifold, and a plurality of heat exchange tube segments fluidly coupling the first and second manifold. The heat exchange tube segments include a bend defining a first slab and a second arranged at an angle to one another. Each of the heat exchange tube segments includes at least a first heat exchange tube and a second heat exchange tube at least partially connected by a web extending there between. The first heat exchange tube and the second heat exchange tube are asymmetrical such that a cross-sectional flow area of the first heat exchange tube is different than that of the second heat exchange tube. A fluid flows sequentially through the first heat exchange tubes of the first slab and the second slab, and then through the second heat exchange tubes of the second slab and first slab.

A second header collecting pipe is divided into a communication space corresponding to both of a first main heat exchange part and the third auxiliary heat exchange part, and into communication spaces corresponding respectively to other main heat exchange parts and the other auxiliary heat exchange parts. Each of pairs of communication space and communication space is connected to an associated one of communication pipes.
