摘要： Washing apparatus as well as methods for washing and dewatering a cellulose pulp are disclosed comprising a rotary drum with outer compartments for pulp washing, and a stationary casing surrounding the drum to define an annular space between the casing and the drum which is divided into zones by longitudinal seals. The function of the seals is optimized by a force measurement device for measuring forces acting on the longitudinal seal for measuring a biasing force of a spring package in the measurement device and for measurement of a force acting on a load transmission shaft of the device as well as an extractor for extracting a force acting against the seal in a direction away from the drum.

摘要： Apparatus for creating a seal between an axle journal and a bearing housing is disclosed, particularly for use in apparatus for dewatering or washing material suspensions. The apparatus includes a stator ring, a pair of diagonally disposed guide pins supporting the stator ring with respect to the bearing housing so that the stator ring can be angled in a plane with respect to the pair of guide pins, a sealing ring for creating a seal between the stator ring and the axle journal, a bellows for creating a seal between the bearing housing and the stator ring, and at least one resilient member for urging the stator ring in abutment against the sealing ring.

摘要： Methods for achieving even transverse distribution and propagation of a flowing medium are disclosed in which the flowing medium is supplied through a conduit and is deflected during diverging propagation in at least one distribution gap.The method includes deflecting the flowing medium during diverging propagation along the distribution gap in which the medium is conveyed through a passage to an outlet gap having a larger depth than the depth of the distribution gap. The medium is conveyed over an edge of the passage extending transverse to the direction of the flow, and the edge is designed to obtain a propagation along the flowing path of the diverging medium that provides a substantially even and parallel flow of the medium along the outlet gap. Apparatus for achieving this method is also disclosed.

The reinforcing frame rib (24) extends around the entire casing (18) for fixing the casing in a predetermined form, whereby detrimental deformation of the casing (18), when washing the paper pulp at overpressure, is prevented.
