A securement mechanism is attached to the second band. The securement mechanism includes a magnet that is magnetically attachable to the embedded magnetic material. Alternatively, the frame may include the magnet that is magnetically attachable to a magnetic material embedded in the securement mechanism. The minimalist wallet is configured to retain receipts, coupons, credit cards, debit cards, and/or paper money, among others.
