摘要: A polishing wheel including a lower polishing surface and defining a different color from a secondary portion of the polishing wheel, so as to indicate wear of the polishing surface. The polishing surface includes a plurality of main radial flutes extending from a central passage to an outer edge. A reduced profile for the main radial flutes is provided adjacent to the outer edge. A plurality of secondary radial flutes is provided extending from the outer edge, but not in communication with either the central passage or the main radial flutes.

摘要: A curing lamp apparatus mounts to a work surface with a suction cup. A base is mounted to the suction cup. A flexible neck extends from the base to the lamp head. The lamp head includes a lamp element with first and second UV light sources which emit UV light at different wavelengths. A control circuit is located in the base. A heat sink is provided on the lamp head including a conductive plate and projecting pins. A protective housing encloses the plate and pins. A timing circuit controls the light source for automatic shut off. External or internal power is provided for the control circuit.

摘要: A curing lamp apparatus mounts to a work surface with a suction cup. A base is mounted to the suction cup and defines a hinge point for a first bar. At a distal end of the first bar, a second bar is hingedly mounted to the first bar. A first lamp element is hingedly mounted to one end of the second bar. A second lamp element is hingedly mounted to a second end of the second bar. The first and second lamp elements are positionable in a variety of positions to follow the path of a crack in a surface to be repaired. The lamp elements are also foldable into a storage position.

摘要: A method for attaching an implant to tissue is disclosed. In embodiments, a method includes applying a sprayable material to tissue, the sprayable material possessing functional groups capable of binding to tissue. The sprayable material also possesses functional groups capable of binding to an implant. In embodiments, the functional groups capable of binding to an implant include nucleotides. In such a case, the implant possesses complementary nucleotides capable of binding to the nucleotides on the sprayable material, thereby permitting hydrogen binding between the two. The implant may thus be affixed to tissue, and repositioned as necessary, prior to more permanent attachment utilizing means such as sutures, tacks, etc.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method of forming yarns and preparing surgical devices therefrom. The yarns include at least one first filament possessing a polymer core and first reactive members known to have click reactivity on a surface thereof and at least one second filament possessing a polymer core and second reactive members known to have click reactivity on a surface thereof. The first and second reactive members are complementary such that they interact to covalently bond the filaments together.

摘要: Dispensing apparatus for dispensing pressurised fluid comprising a valve body defining a chamber and a valve member extending movably through the chamber and through at least one annular seal co-operating with the valve member and the body to regulate the discharge of fluid. The seal is formed from a material comprising A a copolymer of ethylene and propylene or B a terpolymer of ethylene, propylene and a diene, or C a material selected from isobutylene isoprene, polychloroprene or fluorinated rubber. The seal may contain a mineral filler.
