摘要: A portable electronic device comprises a display on a first, front side of the device, a touch sensitive surface on a second, rear side of the device substantially opposite the first side having a similar shape and orientation to the display, and a touch input mapping means arranged to map a position of a detected touch on the touch sensitive surface to a position on the display and, a tapping detection means. The tapping detection means is arranged in operation to detect a tap as when there has been a loss and reacquisition of touch from a user on the touch sensitive surface. And the tapping detection means is arranged in operation to detect the position of the detected tap on the touch sensitive surface as being the position at which touch was lost.

摘要: This invention relates to an ink-jet printing method using a cationic ink-jet cured by low-intensity actinic radiation. The method comprises printing an ink-jet ink comprising at least one cationically polymerisable monomer, oligomer and/or prepolymer and at least one cationic photoinitiator on to a substrate using an ink-jet printer. The substrate has a surface pH of less than 7.0 and the ink is cured using low-intensity actinic radiation typically providing a dose energy at the surface of the substrate of no more than 150 mJ/cm2.

摘要: A support for a coating instrument includes an advertising image. The support is movable between a non-extended position and an extended position in which the support projects outward away from the shaft for contact with a surface on which the instrument is placed. The advertising image may be formed on a substrate that is adhered on an outer surface of the support. Alternatively, the support may be configured as a three-dimensional image.

摘要: A bracket assembly secures a running board to a rocker panel, which includes a pinch weld depending therefrom. The bracket assembly includes a receiving panel adapted to have the running board fixedly secured thereto. A rocker securing plate extends out from the receiving panel and is secured to the rocker panel. An intermediate securing tab extends outwardly between the receiving panel and the rocker securing plate for securing the bracket assembly to the pinch weld outboard thereof.

摘要: A writing instrument having a shaft, a writing tip, a coating-liquid reservoir and a support that operably cooperate with each other. The writing tip located at one end of the shaft and the support located near an opposite distal end. The support preferably includes a plurality of legs that extend outwardly from the shaft in a use configuration so that when the instrument is in a resting position on a horizontal surface, the legs contact the surface and prop the distal end of the writing instrument upward while the writing tip contacts the surface allowing the writing instrument to be more easily grasped by a user and so as to naturally bias the contents of the liquid reservoir toward the writing tip via gravity, thus allowing the writing instrument to be readily useable.
