摘要: The calender comprises a predetermined number of rolls and at least one of the rolls, for example, the outer roll or the lowest roll of such predetermined number of rolls is structured as a tubular roll or controlled deflection roll comprising a stationary roll support member or beam and a roll shell which rotates about the stationary roll support member and is supported thereat. A position sensor determines the position of the roll shell which is regulated with respect to predetermined reference values by a regulating device. A pre-selected number of different reference values for the position of the roll shell are provided and by selecting an appropriate one of these reference values there is achieved the result that different numbers of the predetermined number of rolls are operative while the remaining rolls of such predetermined number of rolls bear against related stops so that their related roll nips or gaps remain open.

摘要: Process and decker for bringing together a first aqueous pulp suspension layer with at least one additional suspension layer. The process includes moving the first pulp suspension layer and the at least one additional suspension layer on moving layer supports, and guiding sides of the first pulp suspension layer and the at least one additional suspension layer that are adapted to contact each other on guiding surfaces that are one of stationary and limitedly moving. The guide surfaces include contoured surfaces arranged to run substantially parallel to the layer supports. The process further includes applying the at least one additional suspension layer onto the first pulp suspension layer at a wedge-shaped gap, and draining the first pulp suspension layer and the at least one additional suspension layer. The decker includes at least one rotating cylinder, and an endless wire guided around at least a portion of an outer circumference of the at least one rotating cylinder. The at least one rotating cylinder and the endless wire form a wedge-shaped gap. The decker also includes a first suspension introducing device for introducing a first suspension layer into the wedge-shaped gap, a displacer arranged upstream from the wedge-shaped gap that includes first and second guide surfaces, in which the first guide surface is arranged to be substantially parallel to a portion of the outer circumference of the at least one rotating cylinder adjacent thereto and the second guide surface is arranged to be substantially parallel to a portion of the endless wire adjacent thereto. At least one second suspension introducing device for introducing at least one second suspension layer into the wedge-shaped gap is also provided. The at least one second suspension introducing device is positioned to introduce the at least one second suspension layer upstream of the wedge-shaped gap and between the at least one rotating cylinder and the displacer.

Process includes selectively guiding a web though several nips of calender and at least one end nip of calender, and when the web is selectively guided through the at least one end nip, selectively replacing the replaceable roll with one of a hard and a soft roll to form the at least one end nip with a hard roll and a soft roll or with two soft rolls. The replaceable roll being connectable to a temperature control device operated with a tempering capacity that depends on the type of the replaced roll. 摘要: Support components or supports for supporting calender rolls for treating web-shaped materials comprise walls which surround a roll stand of the calender and are slidably arranged at guideways provided at the roll stand. Each support component supports an associated calender roll having a predetermined diameter, and a predetermined support length of each support component in a predetermined direction of the guideways is greater than the predetermined diameter of the associated calender roll. The walls of adjacent support components define a predetermined numbr of pairs of mutually facing edges. At least one pair of mutually facing edges between two adjacent support components contains projections and complementary shaped recesses. When such two adjacent support components are slidably displaced toward one another, the projections extend into the correspondingly structured complementary shaped recesses. By virtue of the predetermined support length of the support components being greater than the average predetermined roll diameter, there is substantially prevented a canting or jamming of the support components during displacement thereof along the guideways.

摘要: A method and a dispersing machine for hot dispersing a highly consistent fibrous stock. The machine includes at least one stationary stator that includes a plurality of annular concentric rows of stator teeth. At least one rotating rotor is provided that includes a plurality of annular concentric rows of rotor teeth. An annular dispersing zone is formed by the stator teeth and the rotor teeth whereby the rotor teeth are adapted to rotate adjacent the stator teeth such that a distance is maintained between the stator teeth and the rotor teeth in the annular dispersion zone. An inlet is provided that allows the fibrous stock to enter the dispersion machine. A milling element is centrally arranged on the rotor. The milling element is arranged near the inlet and defines a milling zone. An annular chamber is arranged between the dispersion zone and the milling zone. At least one conduit allows a heating medium to enter the annular chamber. At least one rotatable annular centrifugal row of teeth is arranged between the milling element and the annular chamber. The method includes transporting the fibrous stock via the inlet to the milling zone, rotating the milling element to subject the fibrous stock to milling, allowing the fibrous stock to pass by the at least one rotatable annular centrifugal row of teeth, subjecting the fibrous stock to the heating medium in the annular chamber, and moving the fibrous stock through the dispersion zone.

The process for producing the machine may include forming at least one of the at least two fittings by separately producing the at least one base and the at least one processing element, placing an elastic bonding material between contact surfaces of the at least one base and the at least one processing element, and elastically bonding the at least one base and the at least one processing element without melting the processing elements, mounted for relative movement to each other, and mounting the at least two fittings for movement relative to each other. The fittings may include a base adapted for attachment to a processing machine, at least one processing element adapted to be exposed to a stream of a fibrous material suspension during operation of the fitting, and an elastic layer located between the base and at least one processing element to couple the at least one processing element to the base. The machine may include at least two fittings mounted for relative movement to each other. At least one of the at least two fittings may include at least one base that is at least one of rotatably and non-rotatably mounted, at least one processing element adapted to be exposed to the suspended fibrous material, and an elastic layer located between the base and at least one processing element to couple the at least one processing element to the base.
